How To Deal With Natural Skin Peeling
Peeling skin is pretty common to people with dry skin. It could be seasonal, or due to some allergic reactions. Though it goes on its own with time once the dead skin falls of completely there are some natural and home based remedies which could be used to speed up the healing. If, however someone feels irritation and pain in the skin, it is advised to seek medical consultation before trying any of the home remedies.
Olive oil could be used to treat skin peeling in two ways. One way is to use it directly by warming it a little bit and applying it directly over the affected areas and rubbing it until it is absorbed into the skin. This could be done twice or thrice daily to speed up the healing.
The other way is to mix the oil with two tablespoons of salt to form a paste. Using this as a scrub helps in exfoliating the dry skin and making all the peels go off. You may use it twice during a week until your skin feels better.
Aloe Vera is definitely in picture when it comes to skin trouble of any type, specially if its irritable skin or itching that is troubling you. All you got to do is to mix fresh Aloe Vera gel with a little Vitamin E oil and then apply on the affected skin. Allow it to dry on your skin and then rinse it off with warm water. This could be repeated twice or thrice during the week depending on the level of problem.
Milk is a natural moisturizer and is definitely a solution to skin peels. It could be used in two ways. One as a direct application of ice-cold milk using a tissue over the affected area and other, mixing it with honey. While using it directly, drench the tissue in milk and drain the excess milk from the tissue. Apply it over the affected skin for about 10 minutes and then wash off. This can be repeated twice or thrice daily.
The second method needs two tablespoons of milk to be mixed with 1 tablespoon of honey. This mixture needs to be applied on the skin. Massage gently for 10 minutes and then remove it using warm water. This can be repeated twice during a day. Doing this for one week continuously could lead to better results.
Lemon, Honey and Sugar
For this, use half a cup of sugar and mix it with honey and olive oil about 1 tablespoon each. Also add about 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply this mixture on your face and rub for good 10 minutes. Rinse off with water and moisturize. This can be done once or twice in a week for better results.
Cucumber has natural benefits on skin as it is a good moisturizer. Its hydrating capabilities are much more than most of our creams. Take a cucumber and grate it to form a gel like formation. Use this on your skin wherever required and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Now rinse it off with warm water. To do this daily is easy and convenient and it helps you retain moisture on your skin eventually.
You may also use this gel in combination with Aloe Vera to form a face mask. Leaving it on your face for 10 minutes would also help resolve skin peeling to a great extent.
