Beauty Products That Must Go In A Bride’s Vanity Bag
Your wedding is indeed a BIG Day in your life. And who doesn’t want to look the best on that special day? Venue booking, catering, decoration, invitations, shopping, all the preparation starts months before. Yes, shopping. We all love shopping, don’t we? But shopping for your own wedding is a completely different story. It is super fun. And shopping for bridal cosmetic is something really interesting as well as confusing. Yes, there are too many options and one can easily get confused. There are vast ranges of shades, tones, textures and one has to be really careful while choosing beauty products for bridal vanity.
So today I’ll be discussing the beauty products you must have on your bridal vanity. You definitely don’t want to forget these items…
Using a makeup primer is the best way to make your makeup stay put on for longer. So invest in a good primer so that your makeup stays fresh throughout the ceremony. You don’t want your makeup to vanish before the pheras.
A foundation without SPF and which gives high coverage. SPF can make your face look white or flashed out in photography. So avoid that.
A concealer with no SPF to use under eyes and on imperfections, like corners of lips, corners of nose, etc.
Few basic eye shadow shades and the colors that compliment your wedding dress is all you need.
Kohl, Liquid liner/gel liner
No Indian bridal makeup is complete without kohl and liners.
There is nothing more attractive than gorgeous thick and long eyelashes. Enhance the look of your eyelashes by applying one or two coats of your favourite mascara.
Lipsticks and Lip liner
Don’t forget to throw in a lip pencil and a lipstick in your bridal vanity. The color/colors should compliment your wedding dress. If possible try to buy a lipstick in matte finish. It will stay intact for hours.
Contouring powder and highlighter
Contouring and highlighting create a sense of balance, adding definition to your makeup with color. So a matte bronzer and a highlighter for that perfect definition.
Blushes on wedding day will add some more blushes on the already blushing brides. Blush on your D-day is very important to get that impeccable glow on your face. While selecting your blushes for the D-day, beside the shade, you have to keep in mind the quality as well. The blush should be decently pigmented and definitely long staying.
To set the makeup. Also to hide sweaty areas. Again, without SPF.
A decent smelling, long staying perfume. Smelling good is very necessary.
From runny nose, watery eyes to sweaty and oily skin, dry wipe is a saviour.
Whether for touch ups in case you have to or doing a quick fix to your smeared makeup or you just need to take a peek and see if your lipstick is in place or any food particle came in between your teeth, makeup mirrors are always needed.
From torn sandals, buttons fall off, zippers break, straps falling off, a safety pin in your purse can save you from the worst of wardrobe malfunctions. It will be with you when you need it the most. Like your best friend. Isn’t?
So that’s it ladies.
Are you getting married soon? Or a friend or relative is? Then don’t forget to share this list with them.
