Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick In Hot Pepper
I am not a gloss person at all, I maybe was when I was at college, but it is so passe. The new thing are the velvet lipsticks and guess what they look like gloss but are not actually glosses but lipsticks, you also fear that they are so bright and gaudy and wont suit you! But let me show you how it is not!

My Experience with Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick In Hot Pepper
I first saw this at Super drug and tried it on, and went around the whole market, came home, at lunch and the lipstick was still intact. It looked so beautiful that I wanted it there and then. I ordered it online later! That is how I got my beautiful Bourjois velvet lipstick in hot pepper!
The lipstick has a smooth velvet touch when applied; I use my fingers always to get a smooth and natural look. A coat of lip balm helps the lips not become dry quickly. This lipstick can be a bit drying. I have really dry lips anyway! So I stick to using a lip balm to prep my lips for any such lippies!
The lipstick has a strange smell, it feels very menthol like it also gives my lips a fuller effect; it has a tingling feeling on application which is probably the chemicals. The lipstick is very long staying and I love that part as I can have a drink or two have my lunch and still have the lipstick intact.
Over all, I am quite happy with this shade, very apt for winters, brightens up the face almost immediately. I love having my lips adorned, I don’t use too much foundation, just simple BB cream, mascara, kohl and a nice lipstick! Easy peasy!
The price of this range is a bit high but standard to all Bourjois products, I have a keen liking for this brand and I am going to get some blushers soon from their range too. I already have my eyes on some!
