Nourish Your Skin
All the workouts and training sessions can dry out the skin even if you have oil skin. Using a good moisturiser as per your skin type will keep your skin in good condition. Do not skip a lip balm either! Always keep your pout coated with a thick layer of a rich lip balm.
For the rest of your body, use a good body lotion or butter as per your preference.
It is advisable to wash your face after every training session but another thing that you need to keep in your mind is washing your face prior to a workout as well. Exercising with clogged pores aggravates skin problems.
This tip is especially important if you are an outdoor athlete. Always carry a good sunscreen with you. It will keep your skin protected from sun and unnecessary dullness. For swimmers, make sure that your sun block is water resistant. Apply a thick layer on your face and body. Reapply whenever possible.
This is probably the only time when a sportsperson can give some time to her skin. Cleanse your skin well. Regularly use a rich night cream or serum on your face. Apply an eye cream around your eyes.
Your hair will be sweaty and sticky daily. Wash them regularly with a mild shampoo that is moisturizing. Even if you feel like it, do not wash your hair daily. It will be better to use a dry shampoo on some days as too much shampooing will only dry up your hair.
Body mists, deos and perfumes should always be there in your bag. You don’t want to smell bad even after the most sweaty workout. Spray yourself with some deo and body spray before a game to feel good.
