Easy DIY Facial Spray Recipes To Know
I have been seeing people drifting towards short cuts for everything these days. Lipsticks gave way to lip glosses, which are quicker to apply, do not smudge, traditional makeup gave way to instant makeup, facials gave way to instant glow face masks and so on. All are positive and time saving changes so were obviously welcomed with open heart the word over. In case you are wondering why I am writing to you about these short cuts, please feel free to relax as I am bringing to you more short cuts and I am not at all saying that they are bad.
I am bringing to you some DIY facial sprays which are quite convenient across weather condition changes. In summers they act as refreshing and mystifying sprays and during winters they will give you a freshening up without you having to go for the colder procedures of facial and cleansing every time. But yes, you should not avoid facials entirely during winters. Do go for them but yes, you can definitely reduce the frequency.
These Facial sprays specially come in handy if you have to go somewhere urgently which keeps on happening with us and we barely find time to go for the parlor treatments.
Cucumber Mist Spray
A definite spray to be made during summers but you can store it for winters and use it whenever you feel a need to look fresh. It has a very cooling effect and makes you refresh yourself and rejuvenated to face the heat.
For this spray you need:
- 1 peeled Cucumber
- ½ teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon aloe vera
- ½ cup rose water
Cut the cucumber into pieces and make a puree of it using blender. Blend it until it is a smooth mix. Now strain this mixture into a bowl using a cloth. Drain the entire liquid from the cloth. Now add the rest of the ingredients- lemon juice, aloe vera and rose water to the mixture and store it in a spray bottle. It is now ready to be used.
Water and glycerin Spray
This spray is for the dry skin which we face during winters or may be due to sitting in office. Remember the feeling we get when we feel our cheeks will get burned out due to heat out flowing. This spray will sooth you and make you feel comfortable during those hot times.
For this spray you need:
- 1 cup water (preferably distilled)
- 1-2 tablespoons of glycerin
- A few drops of essential oil – I chose lavender oil
Now mix all these together and pour it in a spray bottle and it is ready for use. Please use an essential oil which is good to be used on heating skin. For example do not use any pepper-based or cinnamon-based essential oil.
I am sure you would like these sprays as these are skin neutral and help you achieve a moisture treatment which becomes a necessity during summers and a boon during winters. The shortcut method to feel rejuvaneted is most welcome to us women who often lack time for personal grooming and are stranded for such beauty treatments or self-care treatments. I am sure you would love to use these when you yourself create these and specially because these take too less time to do.
