9 Remedies For Recurring Pimples
Pimple is a normal skin condition that occurs due to excess sebum secretion by the oil. Almost all teens get acne. It is not a critical condition and can be treated easily. Today we have compiled some natural methods that are effective in treating pimples within a short time period. So let’s have a look –
Dip a clean cotton swab in fresh lemon juice and apply it to the pimples before going to bed. Lemon is rich in vitamin C. Lemon juice helps pimples dry up faster. Be sure to use fresh lemon juice and not bottled juice, which has preservatives.
Cut a fresh garlic clove into two pieces. Rub the garlic on the pimples and leave it for five minutes before washing the skin with lukewarm water. Garlic is an antiviral, antifungal, antiseptic and antioxidant agent that can help in the fast treatment of pimples. The sulfur in garlic also promotes quick healing of pimples. Eating one raw garlic clove daily can also help purify your blood.
Wash your face with water and pat it dry. Using a ratio of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water, dip cotton ball into this mixture and apply it directly to the problematic area. Leave on for at least 30 minutes and then wash your face thoroughly. Apple cider vinegar is a powerhouse when it comes to acting as an acne remedy.
Mix one tablespoon of yogurt thoroughly with one tablespoon of honey. Apply this paste to your face and let it sit for 30 minutes. Now wash it off with lukewarm water. The acids in yogurt has antibacterial properties while the fat present in yogurt provides moisture, making it quite nourishing for skin.
Rinse your face with water and pat it dry. Mash up the flesh of raw papaya and apply to your skin. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes, and then rinse off completely with warm water. Plain raw papaya is an all-natural acne remedy that removes dead skin cells and excess lipids from the surface of the skin, leaving it soft and smooth.
Take banana peel, and rub in a circular motion all over your face. When you feel as though you’ve covered all of your face, let it sit for at least 30 minutes before rinsing it off. Banana peels contain lutein, it is an extremely powerful antioxidant that reduces swelling and inflammation, and encourages healthy cell growth.
Aloe Vera Gel
Wash your face with water and pat dry. Apply aloe vera gel directly to your problem areas. Aloe Vera works as an anti-inflammatory, decreasing redness and swelling. It also has antibacterial properties.
Wash your face with water and let it dry. Now grate one raw potato and rub the pulp and juice onto your face in a circular motion. Leave it for 30 minutes, and then rinse off completely with Luke warm water. Potatoes are full of potassium, sulfur, phosphorus, and chloride that help in taming pimples.
Wrap the ice cubes or crushed ice in a piece of cloth and hold it on the affected skin area for a few seconds. Wait a few minutes and repeat the process. Ice can be used to quickly reduce the redness, swelling and inflammation of pimples. It helps in improving blood circulation to the affected area, and in tightening the skin pores and removing dirt and oil accumulated on the skin.
