Blush Mistakes You Cannot Afford To Make
Makeup isn’t a child’s play! If you are a mom you will clearly get it because the last time you let your daughter use your makeup products (or she raided your makeup stash), she ended up looking a clown.. a cute devilish clown if I must add!
So, it is as clear that makeup needs to be learnt in the right way before debuting with a full fledged makeup in front of the world unless you wish them to die out of laughter!!
Lack of perfection in makeup application is where you lack and makeup artists are worshiped for magically transforming your god gifted features to look heavenly beautiful!
Talking about blushes in particular, these are great makeup items which can make a lot of difference with just a hint! Blush tends to give a natural glow which is required to make the makeup look lively and natural and also to even out the plain foundation look after using a base!
Blushes also tend to focus on the beautiful apples of your cheeks and make you look good altogether! But just like any makeup item, blush too needs a perfect hand to apply and blend thoroughly so as to make it look very natural and leave no sharp edges which give an idea that blush wasn’t blended properly!
Here I have some very common blunders which women tend to make during the process of blush application! Check them out because you shouldn’t be doing them ever!!
Never Apply the same shade of blush as a lipstick-
Okay, we get it pink is your favorite shade but refrain from using a cool toned pink blush if you are wearing the same colored lipstick because both don’t go together! Use a copper, peach or plum based blush with a pink lipstick!
Using Wrong tools-
Sometimes only your blush brush is not enough to give you the much required look and you need to use your fingers or a beauty blender as the best way to eliminate the sharp edges and blend out your blush perfectly!
Not using other Blush formulations-
We get that you love powder blushes over any other formulation but powder blushes are good for humid season undoubtedly! They make looks all chalky if you continue using them during dry winter months as well! A mousse or cream blush will be much more suitable for your skin during winters than the same powder blush!
Wrong choice of blush shade-
Choose blush as per your skin tone! If you have a pale skin tone, go for peach, coral, baby pink shade more than the deep shade which might look even more evident on your skin tone!
Similarly if you have dusky skin tone, going with a very light hue might wash out your complexion and hence you can pick the deeper shade of blush!
If you do not know the right blending techniques, it is better to take clues from famous Youtube channels so as to get a perfect blended blush look! Incomplete blending is going to make you look different and in a completely non-appealing way!
Smiling Hard while Applying blush-
You do not need to that! A fish face or a gentle smile without showing your pearlies will be more than sufficient to guide you about where you should ideally apply blush as per your face type! It is always god to checkout some info on beauty blogs as to what is the correct place to apply blush for different face shape!
Applying too much blush in one stroke-
Well, you need to know that you cannot reverse the deep hue of blush but if you start with a soft hand, it is always great to apply more than to reduce the amount of blush already stained on your apples!
So, these were some of the never commit blush blunders that you need to be aware of and try perfecting blush application and blending slowly and steadily so that you receive beautiful compliments from onlookers and not receive their jokes about your expert hand at makeup!
Have you made any of these blunders?
