Skin Rejuvenation With 5 DIY Homemade Scrubs

We all are aware that exfoliating is an important part of the beauty routine. It helps to get rid of dead skin cells & keeps the skin clean & fresh. Since most of the scrubs available in the market are loaded with chemicals, it is always better to prepare these at home. So, today let us take a look at some DIY scrub recipes to help rejuvenate your skin!
Peppermint & Sugar Scrub:
Sugar is the most common ingredient used to prepare a homemade scrub. It exfoliates the skin well & keeps dirt & impurities at bay. To prepare this scrub, start by taking some granulated sugar in a bowl. Now add melted Coconut Oil or Almond oil as per your preference. To this, add a few drops of Peppermint essential oil. Your scrub is done! Now, store it in airtight container. Remember that you can alter the quantity of sugar depending on how coarse you want the scrub to be. Similarly, add the Peppermint Oil in accordance with the desired scent.
Lavender Sugar Scrub:
Lavender is widely used in aromatherapy. It helps soothe & relax the body. To prepare this scrub, start by mixing granulated sugar & Olive Oil. You may even use melted Coconut Oil or Almond oil as per your liking. Stir this mixture properly & add a few drops of Lavender oil to finish. Make sure you store this scrub in an airtight container to keep bacteria away!
Almond & Rose Scrub:
This is another great scrub recipe to rejuvenate the skin & keep it soft & supple. Almonds are rich in vitamins & help improve the texture of the skin, while Rose adds a natural glow to your skin. Start by taking some almonds & grind them into a powder form. After this, take 1 spoon each of ground almonds, milk cream & sugar along with a rose flower. Now mix these all up along with some water. This will form a thick paste which you can use as a scrub to exfoliate the skin. Remember that since this recipe contains milk cream, oily skinned beauties should avoid using this.
DIY Coffee Scrub:
A Coffee scrub helps get rid of dead skin cells & also helps in the skin renewal process to produce new skin cells. In addition, it also adds glow to the skin & the heavenly smell of Coffee surely feels nice! Take some ground coffee & add brown sugar. Now add any natural oil of your choice like Olive Oil, Coconut Oil or Almond Oil & mix thoroughly to form a scrub. Use this scrub to massage gently massage your face & then rinse off with warm water.
Honey & Oatmeal Scrub:
Honey surely works wonders for the skin! It is loaded with antioxidants & is also a great natural moisturizer. On the other hand, Oatmeal helps in skin lightening & works as a natural cleanser. To prepare this scrub, take half a cup of raw oatmeal and chop it in a food processor or with a blender. Make sure that it does not get too powdery else it would not serve the purpose of exfoliating! Now transfer the oats to a bowl & add three tablespoons of honey & mix well to form a thick paste-like consistency. Your scrub is ready to use! After using this scrub, rinse off with warm water and don’t forget to moisturize!
