Chambor Extreme Wear Transfer Proof Liquid Lipstick 406 Review
So the most beautiful shade from the entire collection (as per my liking) is this shade 406. This is an impressive blend of maroon and dark burgundy which makes it an instant love.

The shade 406 is a classy mix of maroon and burgundy as I said before. It is an extremely gorgeous shade for evening occasions. It instantly adds charm to your face even if you are not wearing anything else. If not for any other shade, do check out this range for 406. This shade has been created in a few high end brands only and I’m not exaggerating when I say that I could have paid double the amount to own this one.
The lip swatch does not depict the exact color. The hand swatch is more appropriate and close to the actual shade. Clicking in the daylight makes the shade appear a little lighter than it actually is.It has insane pigmentation and then it goes out to become super matte which makes you feel like you’ve reached perfection in the lip color game.Trust me, this shade is not worth a miss and you’ll share similar feelings once you own it.
The packaging is classy and convincing. The liquid lipstick is in the glass tube (which doesn’t break on falling down; thank god for that) and a twist up wand mechanism. The cap is black and the rest of the tube is transparent where you can see the shade through it. The shade comes on the lips exactly as you see through the glass tube in case of 406. It is a nice handy packaging overall.
The only downside is that there is no name on the tube for the shade. There is just a number. There is no problem in numbers as such, it’s just that with names, we can relate to the shade more.
The texture is really smooth and light on the lips. It does not give you that squeaky dry feeling on the lips and still remains on its claims of being extreme wear, transfer proof lipstick. The lipstick turns matte after around a minute and it remains the same throughout after that. The fine lines are visible but that is not something I would point a finger at, from my personal experience. If you have ultra dry lips, then you’ll have to exfoliate and moisturize before applying.
This shade does not transfer after being matte unless you are having some really moist food item, in which case the color might even spread outside of the lips.
Chambor Extreme Wear Transfer Proof Liquid Lipstick 406:-
After say 3 to 4 hours, the inner side of the lips tend to get a little bare in this case. This being a dark shade, does not go off completely. Once it goes bare, apply fresh or touch up. Fresh application just ensures you do not have flakiness on your lips. The wearing time for this lipstick is almost the entire day or night. I have worn this shade for around 8 hours in an evening event and it has worked fine for me.Removing these lipsticks would require you to have an oil based makeup remover; I use coconut oil.
The best part about this range is that it has flattering shades; this one bagging the first position in the liking order. It has a user-friendly featherlight formula that does not bother you at all. These are perfectly matte lipsticks that would be a best bet on days when you don’t want to rush for touch ups or you want to survive the day with one application. These give you the perfect pout, the kind you get with applying your lipstick with a brush.
The application needs to be practised as it is a liquid lipstick. Once you get hold on the application part, you are going to love everything else.
This shade is a must own; highly recommended!
