Chambor Extreme Wear Transfer Proof Liquid Lipstick 432 Review
How are you all doing? Summers have settled here in Delhi. It feels good as of now but it’s going to get worse in the coming months! Phew.. I don’t like extremes of weather.
Anyways, next up in the Chambor extreme wear range is the shade no 432.
Price INR 845 for 6ml
With this shade, we start with the family of reds. This is a rusty red shade, one of the star shades from this range. It happens to be an extremely gorgeous shade that you should own from this collection. All the reds in this lipstick range are different from each other just because of the mixture of one other shade into them. This one has rust mixed into the red shade. On fresh application, the rust tones are more obvious to notice; after some time when it settles down to being completely matte, it turns to be brick red.
This shade, dear ladies, is absolutely gorgeous and it would lift up anyone’s mood, any day. Having picked up 3 reds from the collection including this one, I can say that it is one of the most charming shades from the extremewear range.
The packaging, as I told before, is a beautiful one. There is this glass tube and a twist up wand mechanism. The cap is black and the rest of the tube is transparent where you can see the shade through it. The shade that comes on the lips is not exactly that you see through the glass tube; it comes out to be different on application as compared to what it appears from the glass tube but it is a nice handy packaging overall.
The only downside is that there is no name on the tube for the shade. There is just a number. Why you do this Chambor?
The texture is really smooth and light on the lips. It does not give you that squeaky dry feeling on the lips and still remains on its claims of being extreme wear, transfer proof lipstick. The lipstick turns matte after around 30-60 seconds and it remains the same throughout after that.
This particular shade does transfer a bit when you have meals but that still does not take off the color from your lips. You have to be careful while having a sandwich or a similar thing, that might even spread the color outside of the lips.
After say 3 to 4 hours, the inner side of the lips tend to get bare. So that is something you need to take care of.
The wearing time for this lipstick is almost the entire day. I have worn this shade for around 7-8 hours and it has worked fine for me. The only thing is when you eat or drink, the inside of your lips will look bare post that.
Removing these lipsticks would require you to have an oil based makeup remover; I use coconut oil.
The best part about this range is that it has gorgeous, ‘love at first sight’ kind of shades; almost all 18 are impressive. It has extremely user-friendly featherlight formula that does not bother you at all. These are perfectly matte lipsticks that would be a best bet on days when you don’t want to rush for touch ups or you want to survive the day with one application.
The only downside using these is that the application needs to be practised as it is a liquid lipstick. Once you get hold on the application part, you are going to love everything else.
This shade is a gorgeous matte rusty-brick red and gives tough competition to Loreal’s red collection.
Things that I give this lipstick a thumbs up for:
“Wow” red shade.
Very comfortable featherlight formula which is not bothersome at all
The body and packaging is likeable and sturdy
It has wearing time of up to 8 hours as per my experience; no irritation and no bad feeling on the lips whatsoever.
Perfect matte red; something girls die for!
Things that I give this lipstick a thumbs down for:
Application part has to be mastered or else you’ll end up having not so fine lip lines.
Fine lines are visible as with most matte lipsticks
This shade is not completely transfer proof.
Wiseshe Like meter: 4.8/5
Until next time, take care!
