Fran Wilson MOODmatcher Lipstick – Black Review
How are you all?
Have you ever imagined applying a black colored lipstick bullet? I am sure the thought in itself is horrifying. After Aishwarya’s blue pout at the Cannes has given rise to a lot of debates, the thought of the black pout adds more to the debate.
Well you girls can chill as in today’s review it is just the lippie bullet that is in Black color; however it won’t paint your lips black. All thanks to the magical MOODmatcher lipstick by Fran Wilson.
I am really amazed by the concept of this lipstick. Dig in to know more.

Packaging: There is nothing very unique about the packaging of this lippie. It comes in a blue colored plastic body that holds the black lippie bullet and has a transparent cap to keep the lippie secure. The packaging material is sort of cheap.
Pigmentation: On initial application there is no color. It gets the color after a couple of minutes. The color pay off is amazing and a second swipe intensifies the color.
Shade: This lipstick gives a different shade on every person, depending upon the skin tone and body heat; however the shade will always lie in Fuchsia category. The shade is true to its claim, so much so that the hand swatch has a different color than that on my lips.
My Experience: This lipstick was a new deal for me. I actually was horrified to see a black color lipstick and I was like how am I gonna let it go on my lips….. the black lippie actually got my heart sank.
I applied it on my hand and whoaaaa.. it was magic. This lipstick turned out to be pink in color. Honestly there is no specific color, it just varies with the skin tone and lip color.
Black is the darkest shade among all other shades. It comes out as dark fuchsia color on my lips. Pigmented lips may feel a weird problem of the color showing up variedly on lips. Coming to the staying power, the lipstick will win your heart. It stays for really long, does not transfer after a while and sort of sticks to your lips for atleast 8 hours.
Overall this is a really a fabulous lipstick to have and I look forward to trying other shades from this range.
