Summers are here and oh! my god it is deadly hot. I have just returned from Jaipur and trust me, it was burning hot over there. As the temperatures scorched the mercury level, it was an utter necessity to keep my skin cool and hydrated at the point but as I was travelling, I couldn’t do any DIY on the go. But from yesterday, after I returned from there, I have started using some awesome and refreshing face masks that will keep myself cool yet hydrated this summer. 5 Summer Face Masks that Keep you cool:
Watermelon and yoghurt are both great face refreshers and help to keep skin cool and soft. Crush some watermelon cubes and mix unflavoured yoghurt into it. Appy it with a brush and keep it on for 20 minutes.
This is for those who are all tanned after a holiday trip! Aloe Vera has soothing and hydrating properties while lemon juice helps to remove tan and fade dark spots. Whip a quick face mask using Aloe Vera gel and lemon juice and apply for 20 minutes. Wipe off using a damp cloth.
Mint contains menthol that is an active anti-bacterial agent. Multani Mitti or Fullers earth on the other hand absorbs all the excess oil from your skin making this face pack one of the ideal ones to be used on oily and acne prone skin this summer. Take some fresh mint leaves and grind them using water and then mix some Multani Mitti powder in it. Make a thin paste and apply.

This face mask is for those who suffer from acne and pimples in summers. Sandalwood powder is an age old ingredient for making skin radiant and also getting rid of blemishes. Rose water has some amazing cooling benefits on skin. Mix it to your desired consistency and apply all over. Let it semi-dry and then wash off for an instant dull skin rejuvenation and healthy glow.
