I am a true devotee and an experimental person when it comes to lipsticks. I clearly remember, during my college days I was just a lip balm person and discovered my lipstick love in late 2012. And since then there is no looking back. My favourite formula of lipstick is obviously ‘comfortable’ matte, which is ideal for any kind of weather, especially for summers. Today, I am here with a very well known brand Inglot and it’s none other than, the cult favourite ‘Shade 178’. But why always numbers Inglot? We seriously adore cute names of our lipsticks, Don’t we? Anyways, if you want to know how did it fared for me then keep on scrolling.

My Experience with Inglot Lipstick 178
It comes in a signature matte black outer packaging of Inglot which is nothing but classy. The lipstick comes in sleek black packaging with shade name which is mentioned at its bottom. The packaging is sturdy and easy to carry around. I am in love with the precise bullet of this lipstick which is ideal for perfect lipstick application. Overall, I really like the packaging of this lipstick.
Color,Texture & Pigmentation-
This is a beautiful coral-orange lipstick with red undertones which is ideal for every kind of skin tone. Although, it looks a little darker on my medium tanned NC 35 skin tone but I really like the way it turned out on my skin tone.
The texture of this lipstick is creamy which glides effortlessly. The lip colour is enriched with the vitamin-E oil and Avacado oil which provide an adequate amount of moisture to the lips hence no more dryness. Since the lip colour doesn’t dry out the lips so there is no need to wear chapstick underneath. But if you have extremely dry lips then make sure your lips are well prep before the application of this lip colour.
The opacity of this lipstick is great. Within two swipe you will get the actual colour onto the lips. The lipstick is pigmented enough, to cover the lip imperfections beautifully.
This lipstick has stayed on my lips for about 4+ hours. After that, it started feathering from the lip lines which looks really awful. I am not very much into creamy lip shades, I like long staying creamy matte formulation. And it does transfer a lot on objects. It is indeed a great lipstick but the smudging part is not forgiving at all. One good lip liner can cancel out the smudging part, so don’t forget to line your lips with a matching lipliner. If you wouldn’t mind fixing your lipstick after some time of application then you may give this a go
