Tartelette In The Bloom Palette Photo, Review & Swatch
I love to own make-up from different brands. Also, it is my wish to own at least one product or the cult favorite, from all the brands available in the market, both national and international. And in this pursuit I landed up buying “Tartelette in the bloom” eyeshadow palette from Tarte cosmetics. This was an impulsive purchase and I bought it from the Impression store in Karol Bagh.
Since Tarte cosmetics has not been launched in India, there is no official MRP. But the general price range is anywhere between Rs.4500-5000, thanks to many genuine Facebook and Instagram sellers where these products are easily available.
This is my first purchase from the house of Tarte cosmetics and definitely not the last. Let’s see how this beauty fared.
Let’s see what the Website says.
A best-selling, cult-favorite eyeshadow palette with 12 brightening matte & micro shimmer shades.
- Amazonian clay: nature’s most perfect ingredient for better, longer, truer wear
- mineral pigments: soothe and soften skin
- dermatologist tested
Product performance: Warm-toned assortment of 9 mattes & 3 delicate shimmers ranging from soft nudes to deep chocolates, are arranged in rows for 3 easy looks that you’ll wear every day. The super-blend able Amazonian clay-infused powder formula glides on like a cream, providing long lasting, intense payoff that’s never chalky or patchy.
Package– It comes in a gorgeous gold and purple sturdy fiber palette, which feels very luxurious when you hold it. Also it comes with a large, good quality mirror which is always a plus, especially when one is travelling. It doesn’t come with a brush and I am okay with that, as I do not use the brushes, which comes along with most of the palettes anyway.
Fragrance – Unlike many other palettes, which may have a chemical smell, this palette has a heavenly scent of Vanilla. There are times when I have stopped myself from biting into the palette.
Colors & pigments– This palette has 12 colors, 9 mattes and 3 shimmers. The colors are mostly warm tone and very well pigmented, and one can create many natural, neutral and warm looks.
Texture– The texture is extremely soft and super blend-able and easy to work with and also no fallouts.
I totally love this palette, even though it’s heavy on the pocket. But, as the colors are very well pigmented you have to use it in less, which means the product lasts longer. Also, the color lasts easily for 6-8 hours without it spreading or creasing. Its a very versatile product for me; apart from using it for just eyeshadows I also use the shade Jetsetter (matte brown) and smokehsow (black brown) shade for filling my brows. Also, the color Rebel and Leader can be used for blush and the shade Funny girl works perfectly as a highlighter. Hence it’s the only product I take when I am travelling.
Below are the swatches with just 1 light swipe on my hands
Includes 12 eyeshadows:
1st row (L-R)- smokeshow (black brown), rocker (shimmering taupe), jetsetter (warm taupe),Charmer (off white),
2nd Row(L-R)- Activist (dark brown), firecracker (bronze copper),smarty pants (tan), Flower child (peachy nude)
3rd Row(L-R)- leader (aubergine), rebel (chestnut brown), sweetheart (peach), Funny girl (champagne),
So summing it up, things I loved about Tartelette In The Bloom Palette :-
- Smells heavenly
- Perfect shades for warm, neutral looks
- Versatile product that can be used for brows, blush and highlights
- Good pigments
- Travel friendly
- No fall out
- Lasts decently for 7-8hrs
Things I don’t like
- Availability. As it is not available in India and we have to bear the cost of customs and shipping.
- Price wise, it is expensive
Would I recommend?
Yes it’s a gorgeous palette and no doubt its cult favorite.
