Forest Essential Deeply Nourishing Facial Cleansing Paste Review
I love Ayurvedic and organic skin care and one of the top ayurvedic and luxury skin care brand in India is Forest Essential. This brand has gained a lot of fan following in the west, and it feels good to see an Indian brand doing so well. I have used several products from this brand, and I love their Ubtans. I use them thrice a week for face cleansing. When I heard about a new launch in the facial cleanser line, I immediately bought one.
I am talking about Forest Essential Deeply Nourishing Facial Cleansing Paste.
Let’s see what the Website says about this product

This also contains natural hydrators including Buttermilk, Floral waters, Organic Honey and fresh Aloe Leaf juice to lightly polish and give the skin a fine porcelain texture.

My Experience Forest Essential Deeply Nourishing Facial Cleansing Paste:-
This product comes in a beautiful tub packaging with the standard Forest Essential gold lid. The packaging feels very luxurious and rich.
I have been using this cleansing paste for quiet sometime. I use it on days I feel my skin is very dry or needs some pampering.
This product has an amazing aroma of almond cream or even like Badam Halwa. It is an extremely thick paste with sesame seed working as exfoliates. One needs soak some water on the face thoroughly or mix little water in the paste before applying it. Since it is a thick paste it takes time to blend and you can feel the heaviness of the product immediately. After rubbing it over your face for 4-5 times, you get an instant clear face after washing it with cold water. Also, the face feels well moisturized due to the oils present in almond. This product doesn’t dry the face, rather leaves a subtle glow. Since it is a heavy paste, people with sensitive skin should avoid it, but for dry skin people this can help if used regularly to reduce any dry patches on the skin.
But I feel this product is too expensive for the results received. I get the same glow and moisturized face when I use the Forest essentials Narangi ubtan with aloe Vera or curd. The price paid for the product doesn’t justify the results for me.
Things I loved about Forest Essential Deeply Nourishing Facial Cleansing Paste:-

- It smells heavenly
- It is a chemical free cleanser
- Didn’t break me out
- It has great ingredients
- It ie easily available both online and offline
Things I didn’t like about Forest Essential Deeply Nourishing Facial Cleansing Paste:-
- Price. I feel the product is expensive for the quantity received
- The benefit received is not that unique or exclusive
- I hate tub packaging as its not hygienic.
Would I recommend this product?
No. Only because I feel it is not worth the price paid, but as a product on its own, it is a decent product.
