My Overall Experience with Pixi Glow Tonic
I use this like I would’ve used any regular toner.
I first cleanse the face with a cleanser and pat dry my face. Then I take a few drops of this tonic on a cotton pad and sweep it across my face gently avoiding my eye area. Also remember to not apply too much pressure because you want to be gentle while handling the skin on your face.
I take 2-3 extra drops on a cotton pad and lightly dab it on areas I have some texture like my forehead and my cheekbones because that’s where I have small bumps, my acne scars and on areas I have larger pores i.e. the area around my cheeks.
I let it dry and sink in and be absorbed by the skin and then follow up with a moisturizer.
I have seen a huge difference in my skin after using this product religiously for 2 weeks using it daily at night.
The bumps on my face have reduced considerably, like it has almost gone. I have acne scars (courtesy of 3 huge acne breakouts ) that I have had for months now, thanks to this toner, they have faded away to a great extent. My skin feels much softer and visibly smoother now. The pores that I have in my cheek area look much smaller now also it has reduced my blackheads a bit but nothing significant though.
I have noticed that my skin looks much brighter than before, all thanks to the Pixi Glow Tonic. Also, my skin looks plump and healthier.
The first time I used this product, it threw me off a bit because after I used this I went on to apply my moisturizer and a few seconds later as I was applying my moisturizer I saw my moisturizer balling up but then I realized that it was just the dead skin peeling off.
It helps to get rid off the dead skin revealing smoother and brighter skin. It provides a remarkably even exfoliation of the skin. It also helps in calming acne and helps in clearing pores.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind before using this.
- This contains AHA that may increase skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterward.
If you have sensitive skin you might want to patch test this product on the area of your skin that is not sensitive and see how your skin reacts to it. If you see that you have no adverse reaction to this product then you can go ahead and use this on your face.
You don’t want to overuse the Glow Tonic or it may make your skin more sensitive. Just a few drops, maybe 4-5 drops is good enough!
While the direction on the bottle says that you can use it twice daily, morning and night, I would suggest you limit the use to once a day.
Using this product increases your skin’s sensitivity to sunlight so do not forget to use a sunscreen every day before stepping out and I would suggest using sunscreen even though you are staying indoors. Also, avoid using this during the day, I would rather suggest you use it at night and follow it up with your skincare routine.
Also if you experience any flaking of your skin then do not pick on it because it might cause scarring.
Stop using it if you experience any redness or skin irritations.

For a drugstore product, it is a little pricey ( but for the wonders it did for my skin it’s not really a con for me)
My recommendation: I would highly recommend this product. I have been using it for a month now and I have seen a noticeable difference in how my skin looks and feels. It’s much smoother, looks healthy, soft and my acne scars are fading away. Also, my pores look smaller. If you guys have the similar problems, then you should definitely give this a try.
