Today I’m going to review my all-time favorite foundation. It’s the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation. It’s my go-to foundation when I want a light-weight, natural looking foundation.

My Thoughts about Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24h Long Wear Foundation 320 Bisque (W)
I had heard good things about this foundation so decided to give this foundation a try.
I’ve Warm/Golden undertones and picked up the shade #320 Bisque Warm which is a perfect match for me.
I’ve been using the foundation for the past one month and have fallen completely in love with it. Of all the foundations, I’ve tried out so far, this is the most natural looking foundation. It’s hard to tell that I’ve foundation on whenever I use this foundation. I have to go really up close to the mirror only then can I really see the foundation on my skin.
Product Texture: It has a lightweight formula hence it never looks cakey/heavy on me. However, even though its light-weight on the skin it gives me full coverage with just one layer. It does a very good job of covering my redness, acne scars and breakouts. It blurs my pores and gives me a flawless looking skin.
Finish: It has a velvety matte finish which is perfect for my oily skin. I don’t like matte foundations that much because it looks cakey on my skin even though I have oily skin, so I had been on a hunt to find a foundation that isn’t too dewy nor matte but in between and I’ve finally found the one I love.
A little goes a long way with this foundation. I need about 2 pumps of this foundation for my face and neck.
The foundation also has an SPF of 15 which is a good thing because if in case you forget to apply your sunscreen, this foundation will give your face some protection. Most of the foundations that have SPF in them can give a flashback (white cast) in photos when taking flash photography but, I did not experience any flashback when using this foundation, which is a good thing because I would definitely want to wear this foundation for parties, wedding or any event where I know I will be taking a lot of pictures.
This foundation is quite long-lasting. The foundation claims that it lasts up to 24hrs. I haven’t worn this foundation for 24 hrs but it did last on me for a good 8-9 hours after which I did see some fading. But 8-9 hours is a very good wear time for me because I usually do not like wearing makeup beyond 9-10 hours.
So, I would say it did last all day long for me. I’ve oily skin and foundation usually start to break apart on my skin after 6-7 hours and gets really oily, but this foundation didn’t break apart on me and didn’t get that oily like the other foundations.
This product is oil-free, fragrance-free, transfer-resistant, non-comedogenic, dermatologist-tested, and suitable for all skin types.
This foundation even though is velvety matte in finish does have a little bit of glow to it which is why even if you have dry skin it will look good on you.
Even though I have oily skin, during the fall and winter season, my skin does get a little dry and I do get dry patches around my mouth area but this foundation didn’t cling on to my dry patches, which was great because most of my foundation tends to cling on to my dry patches.
If you have dry skin you could get away with not setting your foundation but I have to set it with powder because of my oily skin and would recommend setting your foundation with powder as it helps in keeping your foundation in place for a longer time.
The best thing I liked about the foundation is that they have a wide range of shade selection depending on the undertone. They have 40 shades of foundation and come in Warm, Neutral and Pink undertones so you can easily find a foundation that matches your skin tone.
