10 Aromatherapy oils beauty recipes

Wise She Mega NYX Giveaway Entry 13 By Pradnyaa

Aromatherapy isn’t new to us. We have oils from many different brands available in skincare stores and supermarkets. So I won’t go in details of each oil’s properties…  though if required I can write about it some other time, just let me know  🙂
A word of caution: Essential oils are very potent. Never ever use them undiluted directly on the skin

I love aromatherapy, though I’m not an expert, I like to read about it and experiment.

These are some beauty recipes from my collection of magazines and books. They may seem difficult after reading the names, but once you build your collection of essential oils it’ll be easy to use. The most basic oils to start with would be Lavender oil and tea tree oil – useful and comparatively cheaper. As a base oil Almond would be good for skin care.
However below is a list of a few essential oils and the skin type they are compatible with.

  • Normal: Chamomile, Lavender, geranium, neroli, jasmine and rose
  • Dry: Chamomile, Lavender, Neroli, rose and sandalwood
  • Oily: Bergamot, cedar wood, cypress, frankincense, geranium, juniper, lavender, patchouli and rosemary

So let’s get started with some fragrant beauty recipes!
