Diwali is about a week away, It is a festival of family gatherings, enjoy the firecrackers, mouthwatering sweets, wear pretty makeup and look beautiful 🙂
Generally, most of us do our Diwali makeup at home and look for easy tutorial that just look fabulous. Today, I am going to compile some gorgeous eye shadows that add more glam to your look.
Applying perfect eye-shadow will no longer be a tricky job with Colorbar All Day Waterproof Eyeshadow Sticks. Fall in love with this blend-able and highly pigmented do-it-all eye-shadow stick, which also doubles up as eyeliner. Its velvet powdery, lightweight texture is a smudge proof and doesn’t transfer on the upper eyelid and also can use it to shade, define, smoke-up and highlights.
Sharpen the tip with a detachable sharpener (attached at the back of the stick) for precise application and use it to shade, define, smoke-up and highlights. Its velvet powdery, lightweight texture is smudge proof and doesn’t non-transfer on the upper eyelid.
- MAC Rubnesque This shade is a golden peach with loads of shimmer in it. You can easily wear it alone and I think it will go best on people with yellow undertones.
- MAC Indian Wood This is a warm bronzy gold shade and moment I saw it I knew I had to buy it. I did a bridal makeup look with this one which you might like to check.
- MAC Constructivist It’s a copperish brown with subtle shimmer. This shade is going to suit fair complexion girls better I believe. Looking at the shade all I can think of is using this all over the eyelid and Rubnesque in the inner corner of my eyes. Just too pretty.
I always want to start with some of the MAC pigments but moment I enter into MAC store all I see is MAC eye shadows, lipsticks and then these take a back seat. Does this happen with you too?
Pigments is such a multipurpose product albeit one requires wee bit of practice in getting used to of it but a makeup addict won’t take much of time in learning the art. Isn’t that true ?
Packaging- This eye shadow comes in a black square shaped case with a transparent lid. The lid is tight and locks well. So the packaging is quite cute and travel friendly.
Color, smell and texture- the shade, as the name says peach bronze, is a soft shade of bronze. This shade has minute shimmers in it and they don’t fall out as they are very tiny. This is a pretty golden peach shade and very flattering on every Indian skin tone. Also it can be used during both day and night. In day time, you have to apply a little amount and for the night you may apply tons of this ( not literally) to make your golden eyes.

The palette seems to be quite pigmented. I have tried this eye shadow 3-4 Â times and I am impressed with the quality.
They have an AMAZING range of colours that are quite pigmented, offer good coverage, blend easily and go on smoooothly. It’s basically high quality stuff affordably priced. This metallic eye shadow comes packed in a sleek, flip-top compact that can be used individually or assembled into palettes which are sold separately. The color Champagne Quartz 2 is true to its name, a gorgeous dusty champagne shade with slight pinkish undertones, which would suit both warm and cool-toned skins. The shade is so perfect while creating a smoked up eyes. It can be used on the brow bones and inner corners of the eyes as a highlighter because of its high shimmer effect.
Texture and Pigmentation: Texture of these babies are very creamy and opaque. Only 1-2 swipe has needed to get full color. Pigmentation is medium to build-able. Company claims that these eye shadow fat pencils are long wearing but one can add primer to make them more even and durable.
Shades: Ahh, here comes the most interesting part, Colors! Though I have seen often wearing north India and south Asian people bright colors on their eyes and it looks quite noticeable and gorgeous as well. Here I have swatches 8 colors which is more on look like highlighters !!! However, they are not chalky , provides even application and 1-2 swipes are enough at a time and you are good to go.
