Unexpected guests have a way of throwing you into a tizzy.You keep thinking of the things available at your place and what different you can make out of it.If you are a working professional and spending hours after a long day work is not your idea then this dish is for you.You need 3-4 vegetables and your usual masalas which are always there in Indian kitchen.
Ingredients (For 3 adults)
1 onion sliced or chopped
1 chopped green chilly
1 cup sliced Mushroom
2 Potatoes cubed
1 cup cubed Carrot
1 Green,red or yellow capsicum cubed(optional)
2tsp any cooing oil
1/2tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder according to taste
Turmeric Powder(Haldi)1/2 tea spoom
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
1/2tsp cumin seeds
Green coriander or Hara dhaniya for garnishing
Step1-Heat Oil in a Pan and add cumin seeds into it.
Step2-Add chopped onion and saute them for two minutes
Step3-Add all the vegetables.
Step 4:Add salt,red chilli powder,Turmeric powder,Garam Masala and corrainder powder into it and mix them all.
Step 5:Add 1and half cup water cup and cover the pan and let the vegetables get cooked.
Step 6:When vegetables get cooked which is probably going to take 10 minutes add chopped coriander.
This dish can be served with Rice or Parantha’s..Kids eat it whole heatedly if you serve them as a parantha roll.
