10 Must Have Make-Up Products For Fall/Winters

Hey, my wise beauties, how are you doing? I am back with another interesting post (*hopefully*). In my last post I talked about some skin care for winters and now I will share the makeup products that you must own this winter for a beautiful look :-*

Cream/Liquid Blushes

You must own a cream or liquid blush like the ones from Giorgio Armani by Anamika earlier this month. Cream or liquid blushes are appropriate for winters as you’ll get a dewy and glowy look without worrying about the sweat which refrains you from wearing a cream/liquid blush in summers. Even if you don’t want to wear a foundation or any base makeup the blush will add dimension and glow to your face, just blend it well.

A Red Lipstick

Whether you love Ruby Woo or envy L’oreal’s Lincoln Rose (Aishwarya Rai’s Lipstick in Cannes :-P*) you should definitely sport red lipstick, it will definitely brighten up those greys and blacks and deep colors we generally wear during winters.

A Creamy Eye Liner Pencil

Revlon Eyeliner Blooming Blue

Those defined and perfectly winged eyes are off the trend now. Natural smokey eyes or I should say smudged liner is in. So take out all those pencils you rejected because they made you look like a panda and wear them now 😛

Eyebrow Pencil

If you have thick bushy eyebrows then feel yourself blessed because they are back in trend. And for ladies who have been looking forward to those thin eyebrows like Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s then you’ll definitely be disappointed because thick, sexy and defined eyebrows are in this season.

A Neutral Eyeshadow Palette

To rock those sexy red or winter favorite plum lips you definitely need a set of neutral eye shadows. The neutrals dominated this year and they don’t seem to be going off the trend soon. So grab a Naked palette or Too Faced Chocolate Bar or any other dupe/cult favorite you wish to if you still haven’t done that.

A Highlighter To Mix With Your Foundation

Benefit High Beam highlighter review

Oh, you don’t need to purchase a new foundation for the winter season. Just buy a liquid highlighter which inclines towards skin colored hues. It will be your friend for long as you can always use it as a highlighter despite of the weather outside :-P. Mix your favorite foundation with a highlighter and say hello to a glowing skin, matte skin is way too old fashioned now 😛

A Purple Nail Paint

If you’re tired of those black nails or berry nails for the winter season then you should check out Ritika’s list of must have nail paints for winters.

If you don’t want to buy too much then a deep purple is your color. It is so much in trend right now and it will brighten up anyone’s hands. Do it glossy or matte it will look beautiful both ways.

A Clump Free Mascara

Volumised and lengthy lashes always look good no matter what. Find yourself a clump free mascara which works well for you. Look for a 2-in-1 product which volumizes and lengthens at the same time. I recommend Maybelline Falsies as it is pocket friendly and works well for almost everyone. For a night look you can always go for 2-3 coats intensify your look 🙂

Colored Lip Butters/Balms

How dare I forget to add colored lip balms to this list :-P. Every girl should own a colored lip balm in winters and keep them handy as well. They’re amazing because they give a light flush of color while providing hydration to your lips (*do I really need to tell this? :-P*)

A Gentle Makeup Remover/Baby Oil

Johnson Baby Oil Gel Review

Who wants to sleep with their makeup on? Don’t let your regular make-up remover soak up the moisture of your skin and invest in a gentle makeup remover. If you don’t want to do all the hullabaloo of buying a gentle makeup remover then simply buy a bottle of baby oil and use it to remove your makeup :-*

One tip that I want to share with you all is please do not use your Mattifying foundations during winters as they may look caked up. No matter whether they are liquid, cream or mousse.

And yes, don’t forget to add your must haves to this list. I’ll see you soon.
