3 DIYs For Dry and Frizzy Hair

Hey everyone, dry and frizzy hair are a biiiigggg problem for many girls out here. By now, most of my girlfriends know that I write for WiseShe regularly and they ask me all the time to tell something to treat their dry and frizzy hair. So here are the three best ones that have worked almost every one of them beautifully.

Basically dryness and frizz is due to the lack of moisture in hair even though your scalp may be oily but the mid-lengths and ends get dry causing all the frizz and jhaadu looking hair. So we’ll be working to give hair all the moisture to make them look sleek and shiny.

Let’s start!

Coconut Oil And Olive Oil Mask

Coconut and Olive oil, both of them are really light and moisturizing for the hair. This mask will suit people of every hair type and condition.

To have shiny hair, mix 2 teaspoons of olive oil and 2 teaspoons of coconut oil and warm them up slightly. Then apply it on your hair evenly, spreading it all over from roots to the lengths.

Leave it for an hour and a half and do something else between. Then wash your hair off with lukewarm water, make sure you use a mild shampoo. 🙂

Mayonnaise, Egg and Honey Mask

Deep condition your hair with this nourishing DIY hair mask and get soft, shiny and frizz free locks. This mask is apt for taming those ugly looking frizz to an extent. People with no volume, please stay away from this 😛

Mayonnaise for hair conditioner

So what you need to do is whisk an egg in a mixing bowl until it turns frothy then add 1 tablespoon of honey and two tablespoons of mayonnaise and mix well. Apply it on your wet hair like you apply henna and bind them so that they don’t fall on your shoulders :-P.

Let it rest for a good 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water and say Hello to the new you.

Oatmeal Hair Mask

Now this may be something new for you I hope. This mask is best-suited for those who have an oily scalp, dandruff, scalp irritation and inflammation. It helps in eliminating excessive oil and results in hair growth by treating dandruff and protecting hair follicles. Mix oatmeal, fresh milk and almond oil and make a paste.

Ensure that your hair is free from tangles before applying the pack. Put it gently on your hair. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do this once a week and you’ll be free from every possible hair problem soon.

Have beautiful and shiny tresses and make sure you feel gorgeous from inside as well. 🙂

Take care till the next time sweethearts :-*
