Eyeliner love is again here but this time it is from the brand Colorbar! Colorbar with colourful eyeliners is making the town colourful. Too much colour, isn’t it? And so this time when I peeped into the Colorbar store to shop:-D I picked up a few eyeliners for me and to review. And so here I am with the range of All- matte eyeliners from Colorbar in 4 colours. So scroll down!
What does the company claim:
“For eyes that turn heads, this is a much required quick-drying liquid-to-matte liner that delivers full colour for up to 16 hours. Matte finish brings depth to eye looks—contrasting with the skin’s texture for an effect that looks strikingly modern. This high-performance eyeliner comes with an innovative, flocked applicator that gives you ultimate control and a smooth glide application —in one single step. It delivers the deepest pigmented line and impeccable hold. This formula is waterproof, remains smudge-proof all day long, and comes off swiftly and easily with eye makeup remover. No need for constant mirror-checks—this formula is humidity and sweat-resistant.
Perfect for you’re everyday look!!”
How to use this:
- Draw the line starting from the inner corner of the upper eyelid, continuing to the outer corner, making it slightly thicker as you draw.
- Lift your chin up, look in the mirror and look down, keeping the eyelid lowered so that you can draw the line easily.
- For a doe-eyed look, lightly press down on the tip to thicken the line, drawing it out to about one-eighth inch just past the lash line.
- For a trendy look, use two coordinating colours to draw the two lines closed together
Very smooth and fully matte. The right consistency to work on for all.
Stays on for long like 10 hours (Though they claim 16 hours)
Yes, it is smudge-proof
Yes, it is waterproof.
Available in 4 vibrant colours – (from top to bottom)
The packaging is really simple and decent. The applicator is quite long which has a good grip. Moreover, the packaging is really sleek and sturdy and so is absolutely fit for travelling purposes. No information is on the bottle itself which is really a con for me. If you throw away the outer packaging, you are just blind now! Overall, I feel the packaging can get a bit improved.
What do I feel about this liner:
The eyeliner from Colorbar is for me a liner that will be more than average. Surely this brand has much better products than this one. The liner, though is matte, looks quite dull on the face. Especially the black liner is not super jet black, which should be the case. Among the other colours, blue and green one are quite pigmented and I love the brown colour. The green is not neon green but somewhat of a bottle green and khaki mixed colour.
The liners stay for a long time but after a certain time loose their sheen and brightness. Though they are matte, they are not supposed to be dull, right? But these can be a very good option for beginners. These eyeliners are decent enough to be placed in their kitty.
I will recommend this liner if you are a true Colorbar loyalist or just a beginner. This can go well in your kitty.
