5 Best Hair Care DIY You Must Try

- lemon juice

Take one whole avocado, remove the seed, peel the skin, and puree it. Then add 2 spoons lemon juice, 1 spoon almond oil and finally 4-5 drops of peppermint essential oil. Mix all together nicely with water as required to get a semi paste like consistency. Apply all over hair and roots liberally and keep for 45 minutes to 60 minutes. Then wash off with a mild shampoo.

- Coconut milk
- Lemon juice
Squeeze in 2-3 lemon juice in a cup of coconut milk and keep the mixture in the refrigerator for overnight. Apply the mixture in section and cover your hair including the scalp. Cover it with a plastic cap and keep the mixture for minimum of 1 hour. If you can give steam of hot towel then it will show more result. Shampoo and condition the hair thoroughly and rinse off the mixture.
- Dried Amla powder: 3 tsp
In a bowl add 1 cup/glass of water and 3 tsp. of amla powder. Stir and boil the water till it becomes half the quantity. Then allow the liquid to cool and then strain it. Grind Onion and extract the juice into a bowl. Add this onion juice to the Amla mixture. Apply this mixture to the scalp and hair, leave it for 1 hour and then wash.
- Neem leaves, freshly plucked
- Coconut oil
Take half a cup of cocunut oil in a pan and heat it. Do not let it boil. Add some neem leaves to the heated oil and let it heat further till the leaves turn brown. Keep the flames to simmer and do not boil the mixture. It would take 5-7 minutes for the neem leaves to turn brown. Now, strain the oil using a sieve and you are done. Use this oil to grow thicker, shinier hair.
- Fresh mint leaves
- Ayurvedic Camphor
- Lemon juice
Clean the mint leaves and put it into a grinder along with few pieces of camphor. Grind into a smooth paste. Take out the mixture in a non-metallic bowl and add drops of lemon. Divide the hair into sections such that you coat the entire scalp with this mask and keep for around an hour.Â Wash, shampoo and condition.
