5 Best Orange Lipsticks From Mac

Hello My Wise She beauties!

I hope each one of you is doing good and enjoying the orange-monsoon-swoon we are having at Wise She! Oranges are something we Indians have always been afraid of experimenting with—but little do we realize that most of us are warm skinned beauties, and orange is the color which complements warm-golden-yellow skins the most!

So what are you afraid of? I have a list of the most flattering lipsticks from the house of MAC—one of the most trusted makeup brands in the world—for you to chose from and make your own orange-lip-statement!

Mac Morange Lipstick

MAC Morange

MAC Morange is a super gorgeous neon orange kind of shade. The colour looks extremely vibrant on the lips. A sure head-turner, it brings your face to life and brightens you up. It glides on thick and creamy without streaking, giving that beautiful that beautiful sheen to the lips. Plus, it never feels drying. It keeps lips perfectly soft without bleeding or settling in fine lines or highlighting patches. MAC Amplified cream range is known for their soft creamy texture, and Mac Morange holds their claims true in all possible senses!

Mac So chaud lipstick

MAC So Chaud Lipstick Review Product+mac red lipstick

So Chaud is a matte finish lipstick from MAC. High on pigmentation yet creamy and very forgiving on lips! A single swipe is all you need to get opaque coverage. It covers lip pigmentation well, deposits evenly without any tugging or pulling. Mac describes the shade as an intense reddish orange and I agree whole heartedly. It is not exactly a pure orange but nevertheless a very brave shade at that.  It looks quite flattering on a range of skin tones from light to dusky. But medium to duskier skin tones rock the shade.  The lipstick, though matte, is creamy, pigmented and non-drying all at the same time. Exfoliated and prepped lips form a better base and actually let the lipstick perform something out of the world. It does not settle into fine lines nor does it bleed. The lipstick sets on application and it does not transfer. A winner when it comes to oranges!

Mac Lip mix in Orange

mac orange lip mix

A very innovative, and one-of-its-kind product from Mac,Orange, as the name suggests is vivid and Bright warm toned fiery orange shadewhich looks super scary in the tube 😛 . I have a feeling that the colour on its own can be a bit hard to carry but when paired with a nice gloss it will look very flattering on any skin tone. The lip mix has a very thick creamy texture and It doesn’t settle in fine lines nor does it bleed; it acts like a primer on lips and feels comfortable. And what better way to wear orange than to wear an orange lip primer sort of a product, which is long staying and outright fabulous?

Mac Matte Dangerous Lipstick

MAC Dangerous on indian skin

Mac matte dangerous is a very bright, gorgeous orange lipstick with strong orangish-red undertones in it. I have seen similar shade worn by Bollywood celebrities many a times.  The thing with oranges is that either they look too bright or they wash you out but this one is for keeps. Just too pretty to be ignored! The Application of this particular shade is smooth and feels creamy on the lips!  Though the formula has a few drawbacks such as, the lipstick is a little drying and settles into fine lines but the shade in itself is so damn beautiful that it you wouldn’t be able to resist from wearing it every now and then.

So you say you are not yet ready to take over the overtly-exotic orange lip trend just yet, but you want to embrace the warmer, more wearable versions of orange lippies from MAC? Then, mac Chilli, my dear is the way to go for you! The lipstick is a burnt orange—leaning more towards an orange-dull-red. This is a matte finish MAC lipstick.
