This is a simple mask which works wonders for your skin. Take two spoonful of besan or gram flour. Add a pinch of turmeric powder and milk and make a thick past of it. Leave it for 15-20 minutes. When dry, sprinkle some water and scrub it off with circular movement. This mask can be use daily to cleanse daily instead of soap.
Milk Powder Face Mask
Milk is said to be a natural lightening agent. Take a spoonful of milk powder, honey and some drops of lemon juice. Mix them well and apply them over cleaned face and neck. Leave it for 10 minutes and then wash off with cold water to reveal a fresh and lighter skin.
Tomato and Gram flour Mask
Tomato is known to be a natural tanning agent. Mix 2-3 spoons of tomato juice with two spoons of gram flour. Mix them well to a fine paste. Apply it on face and neck and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash it off with cold water for a more radiant and glowing skin.
Cucumber and Lemon Juice Mask
Lemon is a natural bleaching agent and cucumber is known for its toning properties. Add two to three drops of lemon juice to a spoonful of cucumber juice. Smear it on your face and neck and wash it off with cold water.
Honey and Lemon Juice Mask
Mix honey with equal 2 to 3 drops of lemon juice. Apply it evenly over face and neck. After 15 minutes, wash it off with cold water. This pack is good for oily skin.
Before applying these homemade packs it is always recommended to test it by applying it on your elbow to see whether you are allergic. Once you are sure you can use them daily. It is best if the packs are applied 2 to 3 times a week rather than twice a month.
