Hello, ladies!

Greasy Hair is something which feels as horrible as dry and frizzy locks. Still, there are not enough solutions and posts of greasy hair as we do have for frizzy hair 🙁 In summers, we all have greasy hair issues, irrespective of the type of hair we have due to sweating, workout and even dancing. But some simple tricks and tips can save your day when you have an important event to attend without having time to shampoo. Let’s begin. 🙂

5 Ways to Fix Greasy Hair in Summers:

Dry Shampoo

Dry Shampoo is one of the best and easiest ways to get rid of the grease from your hair. Spray dry shampoo to the parts of your hair where there is grease and then just comb off the hair. Also, you can use Baby Powder as a substitute if you don’t have dry shampoo.

Paper Towels

When you are rushing and have no time for a dry shampoo, then a simple paper towel can be your saviour. Though not one of the best and most elegant solutions but can surely save your day. Dab the paper towel on the greasiest part of your hair and then it will absorb the grease from your hair. Try it when you have nothing else to go for!

Hairstyles for greasy hair

If you are in a hurry and don’t have time for the easiest hacks, then this tip is for you. Make some easy hairstyles that you can do with greasy hair like a top bun, high ponytail or a fishtail braid. This will make you look sleek and will also hide your greasy hair issues.

Perfume

Applying perfume on hair may seem really odd but trust me, it has dual benefits. Perfume have alcohol in them which enables the oil bonds to break and thereby make hair grease free. Moreover, your hair will smell awesome if you spray a mild perfume on it.

Wash with Cold water

Washing your hair with cold water after every time you shampoo your hair can help controlling greasy hair in the long term. If you bath in hot water, the water can stimulate your oil producing glands which make you hair greasy in a short time. Moreover, don’t shampoo your hair too often, twice or thrice a week is well enough. Also, if you have oily scalp or hair, you don’t need to deep condition your hair regularly. Use a mild conditioner that will benefit your hair.

That’s all folks! Hope you have liked my post. 🙂
