Firstly, I want to hug the person that invented this eyeshadow.  I own a couple of shadows but I have never been able to wear a single one till date because I have the oiliest lids in the world. When I heard about the Infalliable range having eyeshadows as well I was like “What??? Infalliable eye shadows?? 24 hrs?â€
I just had to see this for myself and here’s my honest review.
I got the swatches on my hand at bout 2 pm-ish on the 21st of April. As I write this review I am attaching a photo of the swatches on my hand as of 00:45am on the 22nd of April ( camera set to Kuw Std Time 2.5 hrs ahead )
004 Forever Pink Eyeshadow
005 Purple Obsession Eyeshadow
009 Permanent Kaki Eyeshadow
012 Endless Chocolate Eyeshadow
L’oreal 013 Endless Chocolate Eyeshadow
L’oreal 013 Burning Black Eyeshadow
L’oreal 014 Black Eyeshadow
L’oreal 020 Grey Eyeshadow
L’oreal has launched a colour range of only 8 of these wonderful shadows in India. The colours are so so beautiful and I think they’ve chosen them very well to suit most Indian skin tones. The tub that it comes in is super cute and I later realised that there was something else very unique about this eye shadow. You see there is like a round plastic disk inside, placed above the shadow to press the shadow down so every time you ‘GENTLY’ swipe some onto your finger you can put the disk back in and press any powder that might’ve got dislodged back into the mould. Smart eh?
L’oreal Infallible Eyeshadow After A Bath:-
These are cream eyeshadows that go on like talc!!! They do not crease or smudge and remain on your eyelids until you ‘decide to take it off’. All of the colours are highly pigmented except for 004 ‘forever pink’. In the swatches all the colours have been applied only once. Forever pink was applied thrice. 013 ‘burning black’ has silver shimmer in it and has no fall out. 020 ‘grey’ is what they intended to be a primer or base colour. I swatched all the colours with my finger and I feel that’s good enough although a sponge applicator would be second best.
Can you create a smoky look with this range? Yes u can. Build on it and ‘smoke’ it !!! I mean you can do a ton of things with these shadows because of their consistency and colours. If you are a novice with eye shadow like I am then just wear a single colour. That’s more than enough.
As for removing it well, you can do so easily with your waterproof eye makeup remover.
Final verdict, I found it expensive at Rs 450 but then I realised that one need just a tad bit cause of its good pigmentation and there’s absolutely no need for touch-ups the entire day….It will last for long.
There is an offer going on at the moment. Buy Loreal products worth Rs. 2000 and get a set of 4 makeup brushes in a black brush roll case for free. They include a blush brush, a lip brush, an eye shadow brush and a sponge eyeshadow applicator. Brushes are very average in quality.
What I like about L’oreal Paris Infalliable 24 HR Eyeshadow:-
- Fab staying power
- Application has never been easier
- Â Apt for novices and those with oily lids
- Lovely packaging
What I do not like about L’oreal Paris Infallible 24 HR Eyeshadow:-
- In two minds bout the Price
- Â More colours would’ve been nice!
