All About Arpita Khan & Aayush Sharmaâ€™s Wedding
So there is a new wedded couple that has been creating a lot of buzz these days. Actually more than the couple it is the Royal wedding that has gathered a huge attention. All media channels and newspapers are flooded with the updates of this wedding.
Yes you guessed it right we are talking here about no one else but the grand wedding of Salman Khanâ€™s sister Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma, a businessman from Delhi and an aspiring actor.
Theirs was a lavish wedding held on 18th October at hotel Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. All the 60 rooms of the hotel were booked and the wedding had a list of 250 VVIP guests. The wedding ceremonies were performed with all the Hindu Punjabi rituals.

Arpitaâ€™s sangeet and mehandi ceremonies were conducted in Mumbai on 16th December. Arpita wore a beautifully embellished Sabyasachi Maroon lehenga that had a light pink dupatta.
The khan family than went to Hyderabad on 18th November. To begin with the day ceremonies Arpita chose a gorgeous cream lehenga which was an Abu Jani- Sandeep Khosla Creation.
For the wedding Arpita go off beat and chose the traditional Red bridal lehenga. The wedding lehenga designed by Abu Jani- Sandeep Khosla was heavily embellished and looked immensely royal.
There was an after wedding party organized, where Helen and Malaika performed accompanied by various other performances.
Malaika Arora Khan looked absolutely stunning in the gold outfit designed by Sonakshi Raj.
Mika Singh too performed and this was not all. The Khan brothers danced on various tracks of the movie Dabang.
After the wedding Arpita conducted the traditional Punjabi Kaleera dropping ceremony. It is said that the Bride shakes kaleera on unmarried girls and the kaleera falls off on the girl who will soon get married.
The kaleera was dropped on Katrina, which perked up the rumors of her getting married anytime soon with her beau Ranbir Kapoor.
On 19th November, the Khans organized for a post wedding lunch at the Falaknuma Palace. Where the guests assembled for the lunch before departing.
For the lunch Arpita wore an embroidered gown designed by Falguni & Shane Peacock.
Finally the newly wedded couple decided to interact with media. While interacting with the media Arpita wore a white lehenga and Aayush looked very dashing in the Plum velvet Sherwani and Pathani Salwar.
After showing you all Arpitaâ€™s outfit, how can I not show you guys Malaika Arora Khanâ€™s outfit for the wedding day. I am a huge fan of hers and I just could not let this post complete without her pictures.
Malaika chose to go all green for the wedding day. For the day time she wore a very beautiful white, gold and green lehenga designed by Seema Khan, who by the way is her sister-in-law.
For the night Malaika wore a green saree again designed by Seema Khan.
The wedding saw some popular bollywood faces too. Priyanka Chopra made heads turn with her blue sari paired with a gold backless blouse designed by Abu Jani â€“ Sandeep Khosla.
Katrina Kaif opted for a white outfit that had gold embroidery on the neck and flared sleeves. Aamir was looked handsome in a crisp white shirt. Aamirâ€™s wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao, too chose white and wore a simple dress. The maroon kurta suited Karan Johar very well.
Ace tennis player Sania Mirza looked graceful in a white floor-length anarkali.
The whole wedding was one of its own kinds and I am very keen to see the reception pictures. But before I end this article let me show you all the Royal Cake for The Royal Wedding.
The cake was from the Pooja Dhingraâ€™s Bakery from Mumbai. This was a multi tiered cake that weighed around 150 kilograms which had seven bakers behind its creation. It took a total of three days for this cake to be made.
