Last month and this one has taken a toll on my feet. I have joined a new yoga class which requires me to get up in a god forsaken hour and go say “om†with random people. I am not a morning person, I have discovered, but well, the damn thing is prepaid till May, and I must endure this too. However, there are good things that have come out of this. I feel more flexible and happy already, and I get to use lots of nice stuff to combat my tired body. This foot scrub is one of them. I swear, I will not review anything from this brand in the times to come. But I will talk about this product a bit, as it has become a favorite with me for now.

About Aurva Vedic Foot Scrub:-
We use the finest natural ingredients with a nourishing combination of natural oils to gently exfoliate, soften hard skin and soothe tired feet.
- Quantity: 50 grams.
- Price: 200/-
My Take on Aura Vedic Foot Scrub :-
First and foremost, yes, I think Aura Vedic should either change their packaging to a tube rather than a tub, and/or, provide a spatula with their tubs, because I hate dipping my fingers into a tub to pick up anything, especially if it is supposed to go on my feet. However, the package is sturdy, and there is an inner lid to keep the product from sticking to the roof of the tub.
The product itself is mildly lavender in color with big brown granules in it. It scrubs my skin well, and what I generally do is put a good bit of it on my feet during a bath and scrub away, washing it off after I do so. When applied, my skin tingle a bit (probably the mint at work). The granules are large enough to scrub up well. However, they have a way of getting under my toenails, so I make it a point to scrub my toes with a big brush to make sure no residue remains. My skin feels very soft after this, and I have noted that the dryness reduces a good bit. The product has a strong smell of lavender and lemon (the product is supposed to contain Eucalyptus, Lemongrass and Peppermint mostly). I love the smell. It is strong and it actually keeps my feet smelling nice for absolute hours.
I love also the fact that after scrubbing my feet with this and then inserting the said feet into my brand new ballerinas, I have actually had the pleasant feel of realizing that even after staying for six hours inside them, instead of my feet smelling like dirty socks, it did smell mildly of lavender. It does actually make me feel very relaxed afterwards, so I am quite pleased with this product.
What I like about Aura Vedic Foot Scrub:-
- Lovely lingering smell
- Great foot scrub after a long day
- Makes my skin soft
- Does not irritate my skin
What I don’t like about Aura Vedic Foot Scrub:-
- Unhygienic
- Scrubs have a way to get under my toenails
Rating: 4/5
Verdict:Â I will repurchase this. And also gift this to other tired souls with tired soles.
