Best Traditional Earrings To Pair With Your Ethnic Outfits
I have a close friend’s wedding to attend in first week of December and I have been deciding on what jewellery I can wear on different occasions! Since I am not a fan of wearing gold earrings except for festivals like Teej or some close family function, I love to wear traditional earrings which I have picked from different places.
While I was sorting out what to wear with what, I thought why not share with you all and ask for some suggestions! I have sorted two sarees for the wedding day, one being a Pure Crepe Silk Banarasi Saree & the other is a Pure Silk Kanjeevaram saree! Well, if you too are someone with a wedding occasion lined up in December and need suggestions about what type of traditional earring to pick for your outfit, this might help you girlies as well! 🙂
So let me just show you what all I have in store!
Pearl & Pink Kundan Temple Style Earring
I had instantly liked this earring and I really love the way it looks on my face! It is neither too heavy to make you feel over the top of your overall ensemble! It is lightweight and can be easily paired with a saree, a kurta-palazzo/ long kurta-ethnic skirt or even a beautiful pink Anarkali kurta!
Peacock Chandbali Earring-
I love chandbalis and absolutely loved this particular earring because it goes with almost everything ethnic in my closet!
Another chandbali earring I absolutely adore is this one Anamika wore in one of her Party Makeup Look Tutorial.
Plain Golden Jhumkas
I picked this jhumka after I saw how Anamika flaunted the silver version of it. It looks fabulous on anything you wear! Saree , suit, anarkali, long skirts and it looks just flawless! 🙂
Peacock Kundan Jhumka-
I love this jhumka so much so that I have worn it multiple times. Sometimes I simply wear it on a very plain kurti to make it more evident and not get lost in the other bling pieces I wear for a party!
Pearl Chandbali Earrings-
I got these Chandbali earrings last year and have worn them only one time! These are so light and color co-coordinated that they go well with almost every Kurta I have!
Golden Peacock Dangler Earring-
It was a gift from my bestie last month and I can’t thank her enough for this beautiful piece! It goes perfectly well with a green-blue toned Kanjeevaram saree as if it was made for that only! 🙂
I absolutely love this particular one because it was a gift as well from my best friend while we were on a sleepover weekend. It is really gorgeous earring and you can get different colors in the same design!
I picked these two jhumkas while I was living in Delhi and they are my true companions when it comes to wearing something which doesn’t say “I am Over-dressed for the occasion!”
Red & White Pearl Stone Earring-
This one is from the Karol Bagh market and I had to color coordinate it with my heavy cream-red embellished saree but seems it is such a universal color that I have worn it with so many other suits as well!
Two- Toned Oxidized silver Earrings-
I was in a jewellery sale in September this year in Pune and I loved this particular one! It has two tones and so it looks really beautiful if you wear it with a heavy kurta, or an Anarkali gown for the Sangeet or Haldi ceremonies! Totally Hatke! 🙂
Oxidized Silver Earring
It has multi-color beads attached it can be paired with all your kurtas which you can wear on occasions like Diwali, Engagements or even a kitty party!
Trendy Oxidized Silver Jhumka-
I picked this jhumka only because it was so much in trend. Everybody was wearing something similar to this so I picked it up to pair with a Black Kurta-palazzo set which I am planning to wear next week!
Well, this was all I have kept for suggestions and I will be choosing from these few pieces itself for the upcoming wedding! 🙂
