Frizz-Frizz go away!! Nobody wants their hair to look frizzy and messy (unless you are going for a messy hairstyle :-P). To control frizz, it is important to work on hair-care basics and also try some home remedies. Here are some tips to help you control frizz, starting with home remedies
Dark beers provide hydration and nutrition to hair. Apply bear as it is on your hair and scalp and leave for 10-15 minutes. Then rinse your hair with cold water which eliminates beer smell so that you don’t appear to be a total drunkard ;-). This rinse controls frizz very effectively.
Mash a banana in a bowl. Add 1-2 tablespoons of honey and a few drops of almond oil to it. Cover your hair with the pack paying special attention to the tips. Let it stay on your hair for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Banana strengthens and moisturises your hair. You can use this mask once every week.
Avocado is a good moisturiser. It is very easy to use avocado to replenish dry, rough hair. Take pulp of an avocado and mash it well. Apply it on your hair and wash off after 15-20 minutes to discover smoother hair.
Egg and Almond Oil
Take 1/4th cup almond oil and one egg. Mix these two properly. Apply this paste on hair and scalp. Rinse with cold water after 40 minutes. Follow with shampoo and conditioner.
There are some other things that you need to get right before you get tamed tresses
Well, this is very important. Look for a conditioner that contains high protein content and use it regularly. Even if you are too frustrated with frizz, do not be tempted to apply conditioner on scalp.
Do not towel dry your frizzy hair. It only makes hair rough. Rather dry your hair with an absorbent towel by gently pressing your hair between it.
Stay away from styles that involve heat. If you must heat your hair, invest in a good heat-protectant product. If you blow-dry hair, buy an ionic hair dryer which reduce frizz by compressing the cuticle.
Trim your hair
Get your hair trimmed regularly, at least once in 6 months. Choose a haircut that reduces thickness of hair making it tamed.
Ok!! Don’t freak out girls. Combing is not a very good idea for dry, frizzy hair. So comb it as less as you can otherwise wet your fingers and run them through your hair to detangle and tame them.
