Biotique Bio Morning Nectar Lightening Lip Balm
Hello Girlss!
I am here again with a product review this time which I have been using since the summer season as my lips really turned dry & chapped due to the hot dry winds.
Yes, this review is a little late because I was occupied with many things during these few months! So please spare me!

Price- INR 99 for 16g
Ingredients- Arjun (Terminalia arjuna), Lodhra (Symplocosra cemosa), Madhu (Honey), Vach (Acoruscalamus), Mulethi (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Badam (Prunusamygdalus), Surajmukhi (Helian thus annus), Kusumbhi (Carthamus tinctorius), Til (Sesamum indicum), Erandi (Ricinus communis), Marham base Q.S.
Directions To Use- Smooth on and around bare lips, alone or under lipstick.
Packaging- The lip balm comes in the typical tub packaging with a green body & green top screw cap. Tub packaging is a little unhygienic as you need to put your finger to take out product & apply on lips. A tube packaging or a roll on stick would have been better.
Product Color & Texture- The lip balm appears to be a white translucent gel which appears to be white in the tube but on applying gives no color and is transparent on the lips.
My Experience with Biotique Bio Morning Nectar Lightening Lip Balm
I have been using this lip balm since the start of the summer season as my lips were getting chapped frequently and only petroleum jelly was not enough for the day long moisturization. So I picked up this one! Earlier I was using Lotus Herbals Lip Balm and when it got over I though of trying biotique ones as I never tried them before.
Well, this lip balm turned out to be an average product and didn’t impress me much because of the semi creamy texture which needs to be massaged properly on the lips otherwise it will look as if I applied any cream on them. :-p
Also the lightening property it talks about is not at all there as I didn’t experience any lightening in the natural color of my lips!
It cannot be worn under lipstick as it will mess with the lipstick and both formula being different will end up looking horrible on your lips.
You can clearly see the whitish layer of lip balm on my upper lip. I don’t apply it during day time for this reason only!
Talking about moisturization, it surely works in this area and keep overnight it will make your lips turn softer. Dry & chapped lips are going to get softer withing 2-3 uses at night time.
Other than this it does nothing extra. I kind of like to use it only at night time as during daytime I like to leave my lips like that with only a light stroke of lip balm which is light & not heavy texture as this one.
What I like about Biotique Bio Morning Nectar Lightening Lip Balm
- Effective moisturization
- Keeps the lips soft the whole night
- Effective on dry & chapped lips
What I don’t Like about Biotique Bio Morning Nectar Lightening Lip Balm
- Tub packaging
- Messy & unhygienic
- Gives a translucent stroke on lips
- False Lightening Claims
Product Rating- 2.5/5
Will I recommend? Actually No I won’t. There is nothing so great about it so as to try once! Stay away & invest in another lip balm for sure! π
