My experience about The Body Shop Chocomania Body Lotion:

This has been launched during valentine special last year. Unlucky I didn’t able to pick any of them that moment but luckily got my hands on with a help of one of my friend. I wanted to get myself Chocomania Butter but no matter I got the lotion..#mixedfeelings# 😛 This range is a success worldwide. Everyone’s so excited about this range and till date when I google it bloggers and writers raved about Chocomania Scrub wonder why would someone wants artificial no chocolate smelly scrub when you actually can buy real chocolates 😛 that’s my random thoughts :-/. Enough of ranting let me come to the real point.

The Body Shop Chocomania Body Lotion comes with a hard plastic pump bottle. All lotions are geniously designed which can be twisted to open and close. BUT its too heavy and big in size for me to keep in bad though 😛 :-/ (hey I am serious).

Texture and Moisturization: *sigh* what should I say..texture wise is light and creamy but easily get sink into skin. Moisturization – I’m not at all happy specially this winters it’s a big NO from me for Dry skin ladies. Temperature is now moving towards down side. It’s getting colder in here Kolkata and my skin is getting dry and itchy L This lotion is not at all appropriate for this kind of weather. *Thumps-down* although I understand this is not body butter but still I find my money got wasted on this. So far this is the worst Body Lotion I came across for dry skin giving such kind of price tag L. *facepalm*.

Good news is this is superb product for oily skin ladies. I am sure you will love it. Leave no sticky or greasy feelings, sink into skin in a minute and make your skin soft and smooth. So *Thumps up* for Oily Skinnies :-*

Another hate factor for this lotion is the bitter taste. Yucks!! I remember once I licked my fingers while having my lunch and the taste I got was unforgettable. It killed my taste buds in a sec and I had to wash my hands before having another bite. Infact my lips turned bitter in touch of my hands 🙁

Smell is not at all Chocolatey if you compare it with chocolate. 😛 I would rather say it smell sweet like mix of cocoa and shea butter OR loads of Britannia biscuit dipped into Complan 😛 I am not able to define but it has sweet and artificial kind of smell which is not over powering or annoying. The smell gets warmer after few minutes.

P.S: Good for Oily Skin- can use both summer and winters. Good for dry skin : Only dring Summers Not winters 🙁

What I like about The Body Shop Chocomania Body Lotion:-

  • Light weight creamy texture which sink into skin super fast.
  • Leave no greasy residue on skin.
  • Yummy sweet smell, get warmer by passing minutes.
  • Nice and twisted pump bottle.
  • Travel friendly packaging.
  • Hygienic bottle.
  • Good for oily skin, both in summers and winters.

What I don’t like about The Body Shop Chocomania Body Lotion:-

  • Will not moisturizing enough for dry skin. After 2-3 hours of application skin thirst for moisture again. Specially this cold weather. Not satisfactory hydration.
  • Different packaging label from what they have in USA.
  • Ah. The most awful bitter taste is the most drawback of this product.

Wiseshe Rating: 3/5. Does not excite me sorry!

Final thought: Gonna use mine during summer and then I won’t be repurchasing it again.. But those who are oily skinnie and like to smell sweet and yummy can easily get hold on this product. It does a great job for oily skin babes 🙂
