My Experience with The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisturizer-
My main concern right from the onset of this winter season was to take care of my combination skin so that it remains nourished all through the drastic changes in the climate. So, I got this moisture cream and I had already heard a lot about this product from many of my friends.
I have been using it for a while now and I feel this is a decent moisturizer for combination dry skin as it has a gel based cream consistency. The moisturizer however lacks any SPF content and so one must make sure to apply a sunscreen lotion before stepping out in the sun.
Apparently, there is no greasy feeling after applying this cream and I feel it lives up to the claim of moisturizing the skin intensively.
During my initial uses, I felt that it was not as moisturizing for my combination dry skin and I had to face the dry patches issues even after using this cream. However, when I discussed this concern with Zara and the fact that she has very dry skin and in spite of that she swears by this particular moisturizer.
Well, so I continued its usage and after a while I felt that it actually works on the skin. Only thing is one has to continue using it regularly to see the effects. It is not any magic cream that will vanish dry patches within a week or so! 😉
The tub packaging is something that needs to be modified as the gel based cream is prone to spill from the tub if mishandled.
What I like about The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisturizer?
- Gel based creamy consistency
- Light weight formula
- Hydrating for very dry & combination dry skin
- Doesn’t feel greasy after applying
- Decent moisturization in dry winters
What I don’t like about The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisturizer?
- Tub packaging is not easy to handle as the cream may easily spill
Will I recommend?- Well , yes I would surely like to recommend to all those having combination dry skin to take care of their skin for this winter season!
