My Experience with Canmake Cream Cheek Blush CL02:
Earlier this year, when my makeup-ignorant, hazy neighborhood friend went for a trip to Malaysia, I’d asked her to get me Canmake Cream Cheek Blush from SaSa. Even though they’re insanely priced in Malaysia, I still took the plunge since I was really eager to try it out. But, I was so disheartened to see it because she didn’t get the shade which I wanted.
Canmake Cream Cheek Blush in shade CL02 Clear Love Song Pink is translucent medium pink shade, more of guava-pink. For reference, I’m NC42 in MAC and sadly this shade doesn’t show up on my dusky skin*sob sob* I have to really layer it on for the color to show up. In my opinion, this shade will suit fair to medium skin tones.
Texture: Here comes the best part about Canmake Cream Cheek Blush! In spite of being a cream blush, it doesn’t feel oily or sticky at all. It has a gel-like texture that dries post application. The finish is not super matte but rather glowy and dewy though it doesn’t contain any shimmer.
Canmake Cream Cheek Blush blends effortlessly with fingers. It takes a while to dry completely but that also allows you a better control over blending the product. It doesn’t ruin my foundation and doesn’t leave my face blotchy after applying finishing powder. Lasting power is also pretty impressive. It lasted for 4-5 hours on my oily skin.
What I like about Canmake Cream Cheek Blush CL02:
- Amazing texture.
- Doesn’t feel oily or sticky.
- Doesn’t spoil the face makeup.
- Lasts for a long time.
- Gives a dewy finish.
- Easily blend able.
What I dont like about Canmake Cream Cheek Blush CL02:
- Unavailable in India.
- Priced exorbitantly in most places other than Japan.
- Packaging looks cheap.
- The shade CL02 might not show up much on dusky skin tones.
Final Thoughts: Canmake Cream Cheek Blush is a gel-like cream blush that is really easy to apply and which stays on for a pretty good time. I soo want to try out the shade CL01 Clear Red Heart. Do give it a try if you have access to this brand. Highly recommended!
