This shade is true red with no undertones of another color. This looks a little light and bright red on fresh application but give it some time and it will turn into a deeper color of the same red. It looks more beautiful then. The color that you see in the swatch is the one on fresh application. Please note that it will turn a little deeper in the same shade and absolutely matte as you know by now. I love this shade after 15 minutes of application when it goes matte true red and that’s a gorgeous shade indeed. People looking for a pure matte red, please check this one out.
As for me, I love all the reds that I have picked up from this range. I choose red of the day as per my mood. The packaging is classy and convincing. The liquid lipstick is in the glass tube (which doesn’t break on falling down; thank god for that) and a twist up wand mechanism. The cap is black and the rest of the tube is transparent where you can see the shade through it. The shade in this one comes on the lips exactly as you see through the glass tube. It is a nice handy packaging overall.
The only downside is that there is no name on the tube for the shade. There is just a number. There is no problem in numbers as such, it’s just that with names, we can relate to the shade more.
Texture: The texture is really smooth and light on the lips. It does not give you that squeaky dry feeling on the lips and still remains on its claims of being extreme wear, transfer proof lipstick. The lipstick turns matte after around 30-60 seconds and it remains the same throughout after that.
The fine lines are visible but that is not something I would point a finger at, from my personal experience. If you have ultra dry lips, then you’ll have to exfoliate and moisturize before and then apply.
This shade does not transfer after being matte unless you are having some really moist food item, in which case the color might even spread outside of the lips. After say 3 to 4 hours, the inner side of the lips tend to get bare. With food, the inner half of the lips end up with no lipstick at all. So you need a fresh application post meals or a touch would work too sometimes. Fresh application just ensures you do not have flakiness on your lips.

The wearing time for this lipstick is almost the entire day. I have worn this shade for around 6-7 hours and it has worked fine for me. Removing these lipsticks would require you to have an oil based makeup remover; I use coconut oil.
The best part about this range is that it has striking, love at first sight kind of shades; almost all 18 are impressive. It has extremely user-friendly feather-light formula that does not bother you at all. These are perfectly matte lipsticks that would be a best bet on days when you don’t want to rush for touch ups or you want to survive the day with one application.
The range includes some great evening wear shades, this being one of them.
The application needs to be practiced as it is a liquid lipstick. Once you get hold on the application part, you are going to love everything else.
This shade goes straight to the pure red matte shade recommendations list for Indian skin tones.
