Chambor Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation
One of the underrated brands available in India is Chambor. I was very excited to try their Orosa range but I found it expensive so I decided to wait, hoping it would get discounted. But unlike lakme, Maybelline and loreal this brand hardly offers any discounts on any e-commerce website. I have waited for months hoping for discounts, but eventually gave up and bought it at full price from Lifestyle store.
The SA at the store was very helpful (don’t we all like a makeup enthusiast??) and seeing her enthusiasm I landed up buying more products than I had planned.
And my review today is on the foundation from the Orosa collection. I bought this foundation as the SA informed me that this foundation has skin care properties and that totally attracted me to this product.
Price-Rs.1495 for 25ml (lower than standard 30 ml)
Lets see what the website says about Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation
A ‘complexion perfector’, improves elasticity and firmness while visually minimizing the pores.Â
Just a few drops gives the skin a diffused luminosity, veiling any imperfections.
A feather weight fluid texture ensures a suede matte finish with a breathable second skin effect.
Shade range– This foundation has only 4 shades available catering primarily to fair – medium skin tone. My shade is the 2nd last deepest shade available (I am wheatish to fair complexion). For deeper skin tone there are no shades available, which sucks, as my friend really wanted to try this foundation but even the darkest shade was too fair for her.
Packaging– It comes in a slim matte glass bottle with rose gold lid and Rose gold prints on it. It looks really classy. The bottle also comes with a glass dropper. The bottle makes you feel as if you are using a serum rather than a foundation, and I guess with this bottle they are trying to emphasize the whole skin care aspect of this foundation. But I am not fan of such packaging for a foundation, as it can get really messy. I wish they had given a pump.
Texture & Coverage– This foundation is quite runny, with a very watery consistency. This is my first such light foundation. It is also lighter than my BB creams. It feels absolutely nothing on the face, and it settles down to a matte look. Since it is such a light foundation, its sheer coverage is easily buildable to a medium coverage.
My Final Thoughts on Chambor Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation :-
I love this foundation as it is extremely light on the skin and settles completely matte. Since its light in weight, it is very easy to blend. Because of its lightness, I would suggest using a brush rather than a sponge blender, as the sponge will soak up half the product. With this I don’t feel the need to use any setting powder, also it minimizes the appearance of my pores, giving it a flawless finish, Its sheer coverage and it is perfect for daily wear, it lasts for 5-6hrs. About the skin card properties, honestly I didn’t feel any difference other than the fact that it did not break me out at all.
Things I loved about  Chambor Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation :-
- Extremely light
- Gives a suede matte finish
- Ideal for daily wear
- Easily available online and offline
Things I didn’t like Chambor Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation :-
- It is expensive
- Just 4 shade range
- Doesn’t have an SPF
Would I recommend this product?
Yes, if you get your shade, then do not hesitate to buy this foundation.
