Colour Pop Lippie Stix In shade Fab Five Review & Swatch
Recently I made my first purchase from Colourpop brand, I got this lippie stix along with no filter concealer in Golden and Tan, Ruffle my feathers highlighter. So here I am reviewing the lippie stix which according to me was a great found. I was not expecting anything great for 5 $, well I had to change my mind after I tried it. If you do not like deeper shades, do try other shades, they have wide range of pinks, peaches, nudes, reds and corals in this range.

Each colorpop lippie stix comes in a slim classy white carton. On the body of the carton, Lippie Stix is printed in holographic letters.
This lipstick comes in a twistable maroon colored plastic tube. Shade name is printed at the bottom of the tube. This tube houses 1 gram of product, I felt quantity will be extremely less. But when I retracted the entire lipstick, quantity is pretty good, much better than what we get in India.
Shade: The shade Fab Five is a gorgeous deep burgundy shade with brown tones. I have never worn such deeper shades in my life as I have always felt deeper shades add up to years and make you look aged. Anyway after I tried Fab Five, I am now more open to experiment with deep vampy shades in future. This shade will suit all skin tones and is suitable to wear during falls. If you are looking for a vampy shade but you are not comfortable with black, then surely go for it. Many people also mention the shade as Blackened red, I kind of agree with them.
My Overall Experience with Colour Pop Lippie Stix In shade Fab Five
Pigmentation: This lipstick shade is intensely pigmented. The shade has been swatched only once in the swatch pic. Once I glided this lipstick on my lips, it did glide effortlessly and I did not need more than one swipe to achieve full coverage on my pigmented lips.
Texture & Finish: If you do not like drying mattes or creamy mattes, go for this lipstick range. It has complete matte finish. Initially it feels little creamy and moist but within 10 minutes, it sets into complete matte finish. This is feather light on my lips, it does not accentuate my lip lines. It has soft velvety texture and sets into powdery matte finish. It is not completely transfer-proof, but better than other matte lipsticks available in market. After a heavy meal, I found little shade had faded from the centre of lips. It never makes my lips dry even if I wear it whole day without a lip balm underneath.
Longevity: It easily stays for 7 to 8 hours without a meal in between. After a heavy meal, it fades from the center of my lips. It requires a bi-phasic or oil based makeup remover to completely remove it. It fades evenly with time leaving deep burgundy stain behind.
Availability: Available at Colorpop website.
