Hey people, time for another review of Blast From The Past Series. The previous CoverGirl eyeshadow trio turned out to be a bummer for me, let’s see how this one performs.

About CoverGirl Eye Enhancers Eyeshadow
Cover Girl Eye Enhancers 3 Kit Shadows is a collections of great shades handpicked by Cover Girl’s makeup pros. Designed for a classic look, these shadows blend effortlessly to bring your eyes out beautifully, without overshadowing. Matte, pearl, and sparkle shades.
Packaging: The trio is packed in a compact pan which is sturdy and good for using on the go. It comes with a usual sponge applicator which is quite soft and picks up color quite well. There’s nothing gaga about the packaging but I still like it.
My experience with CoverGirl Eye Enhancers Eyeshadow Major Distraction
The previous shades were not flattering for our Indian skin tones, but this one looks like it is made for us. The lightest shade is a very pinky beige highlight color with fine golden shimmers to it and instantly brightens up my eyes I swear. The middle shade is gorgeous as well, a very warm brown which is flattering for our skin tones. This color can be used as a crease color and will also work for a smokey brown look. The third color of this trio is a pretty greenish teal color it has golden shimmers as well which provides the much needed warmth.
The pigmentation of all the three colors is very average and one has to use an eye base before applying them and also layering them heavily is required for a nice color payoff. The texture is fine but can be chalky sometimes. Only the teal shade had a bit of fall outs, which is amazing for a drugstore eyeshadow. The major disappointment for me was the staying power, it starts fading away within half an hour of application but stays for an hour with the primer.
So summing it up.
What I like about CoverGirl Eye Enhancers Eyeshadow Major Distraction
- Great colors for Indian skin tones, have the warmth in them.
- Shimmers are not gritty.
- Easy to blend.
- The first 2 shades didn’t had any fall outs.
What I don’t like about CoverGirl Eye Enhancers Eyeshadow Major Distraction:
- Average pigmentation.
- Starts to fade really soon.
- Contains Mica, Paraben
Do I recommend this Product? It is a really nice product for the beginners, as you don’t have to spend too much and you’ll end up with a nice set of colors to play with.
