Presenting to you my new found love – Deborah Milano Comfort Mat foundation   . This is the first foundation that I bought, thanks to Wise She :-). I never dared to buy one until I was hooked to Wise She :-P.
Before going ahead with the review, I have an interesting experience to share. I went to Bangalore Central last month on a week day afternoon. I like to shop at off timings since I can jump around and hop easily all over :-D. As soon as I reached the cosmetic counters, I stopped at Colorbar-my trusted brand. The SA put a foundation on me which looked cakey on my face. Guess what , all the SA’s from Lakme, Deborah, Maybelline etc took this golden opportunity and literally pounced on me(No offences 😀 ). I could not figure out who is putting foundation on my left cheek and who on the right :hammer: . I had to politely tell them to have a little mercy on their muse since I was already nervous trying on so many foundations for the first time :-P. Have you experienced this somewhere :-)?
Ouch , without blabbering more, here is the review 😀
About Deborah Milano Comfort Mat foundation :-
Fluid foundation for normal and combination skins. Dual acting: mattifying and hydrating, long-lasting coverage. Ricesilk keeps the T-Zone shine-free, while Hydra-Protect DH Complex deeply moisturises skin and leaves it smoother and more supple. Hypoallergenic*. SPF 15.
My experience with Deborah Milano Comfort Mat foundation:-
I have used this foundation for about 10-12 times and I am utterly satisfied. I have a combination but clear face with faint dark circles. I don’t really need a foundation but alas to the bad skin days, I do get pimples sometimes :-(. This foundation gives me a matt look with good coverage and made up doll face which I absolutely cherish 🙂 !
- Price: 595 INR
- Quantity : 30 ml
- Shelf life : 2.5 years
- Shades : This foundation is available in seven shades. I bought the one in the middle , shade number 2 – True Beige.
Packaging : I just love the pump dispenser. Since I am newbie to foundation, it’s difficult for me to estimate the amount I would need for my face. This fits the ball perfectly ! I can dispense multiple times in small quantity and hence the quantity is controlled. It takes 2-3 pumps for light-medium coverage.
The grip of the bottle is firm. It fits properly in my hand.
Coverage and Texture : It gives medium as well as full coverage. It hides my acne and blemishes well. I dot my face with foundation and blend with my fingers. Its soft , light and takes me a minute to blend. The look is matt yet the skin remains hydrated. I never felt stretched. Generally foundations leave you with oily skin after long hours but hurray this does not :dance-left-right: :yippee:!
Staying power : I have had this on for 8-10 hours and even outdoors in hot and humid weather. I never need to use blotting paper or compact. It passed the test of foundation for combination skin :).
Deborah Milano Comfort Mat foundation is an excellent foundation for combination skin. It’s easy to blend , neither makes me sweat nor dry nor oily. I have tried foundations only at the parlour before which made me feel sullied after a few hours.
What I like about Deborah Milano Comfort Mat Foundation:-
- Soft, easy to blend
- Hides acne and blemishes
- No fragrance
- Amazing staying power
- No dryness, oiliness even after hours of use
- Evens out skin
- Matt yet hydrating
- Decent price
- Convenient and hygienic pump dispenser
- No white cast even on surplus usage
- SPF 15 for sun protection
- Hypoallergenic – formulated to minimise the risk of allergy
What I don’t like about Deborah Milano Comfort Mat Foundation:-
- No lock system in the pump dispenser.
Rating: 4.8 ( simply because its competing with MAC and other high end foundations 😛 )
Would I repurchase ?  Definitely yes ! But that doesn’t mean I won’t try high end foundations now since I have done hands on with this foundation :-P.
Till we meet again , Stay Beautiful 🙂 !
