Deepika Padukone's Piku character

Deepika Padukone looks remarkable in the movie Piku. The bong touch to her look added oodles of sensuousness. Deepika came out of the box this time, delivered one of the finest of her performances and looked incredible. Comply and stylish dresses, deeply kohled dove eyes, with the bindi and the dimples, she looked presentable, stylish and soothing to eyes.

She is an independent woman, who is family –oriented, connected to roots, yet is a free-soul. Clothes for Piku mean a way of self expression and comfort not only following the trends. Her looks in Piku is “Modern meeting ethnic”.

Piku’s beauty is in its simplicity. From comfy kurtis, tee shirts, check shirts and jeans to gorgeous sarees, her looks speak her character. The shades she went for are mostly in light and pastel shades which looked pretty on her, whereas there were also bold and beautiful array of shades that complemented her role perfectly.

Her makeup is minimal most of the time and took a glamorous turn when she reached Kolkata. Bengali beauties have signature big eyes. Deepika’s eyes were also highlighted with loads of Kohl and finished with neutral lip colors, glowing skin. She left her wavy hair cascaded down throughout the film, except a few places where she pinned her hair in a casual bun for the casual “in home” look.

The character Piku is as refreshing as her looks in the movie. She is modern, independent, but also never shy of going back to and taking care of her patience-testing father, after all we are all daddies’ little girls. Then come first no matter what. Isn’t?
