Diwali Eye Makeup With Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette

This is a Diwali Look inspired from Jason Wu Fall 2011 collection where I have changed the colors. The midnight blue is replaced by silky purple and the metallic gold gets flown into breeze pastel vanilla and mint green shimmers. Lets see how to do it.

CHEEKS
  • MAC Powder blush in Dollymix
  • MAC Mineralize Skin Finish (LE) in Smooth Merge
  • Lipstick  - Clinique High Impact Lipstick in Toasted Rose
EYES
Urban Decay 15th Anniversary palette...colors used are Blackout (Midnight pitch black), Half Truth (grey-ish purple), Vanilla (ivory yellow) and Midnight 15 (super shimmery beige)
BRUSHES
1. Clinique Foundation Brush
2. Clinique Blush Brush
3. Lancome Tropic Minerales mineral powder brush
4. Essence Of Beauty thin dome eyeshadow brush.
5. MAC 217 and 224
6. Shiseido small eyeshadow brush
Step1 Prep the lid with UDPP. Trace the lids with black eye pencil and then fill in to draw a stencil.
step 1 prep and prime eyes+ Urban Decay Primer Potion
Step2 – Smoothen the stencil edges with black eyeshadow which also adds depth to the look.
step 2 drawing the stencil+ Bourjois Effet Smoky Ultra black liner
Step3 – On the areas  covered by black, apply Half Truth and then blend it in the crease going as higher as you like.

  • Highlight with Midnight 15 .
  • On the globe of the lid pat on Vanilla and then with a damp brush apply mint green pigment.
 MAC Pigment (from the Surf Baby Stackables) in Icy mint green
Loreal Superliner Carbon Gloss 6. Clinique High Lengths Mascara
  • On the lower lids, on the outer half is blackened purple and inner half is mint green pigment.
Urban Decay 15th Anniversary palette...colors used are Blackout (Midnight pitch black), Half Truth (grey-ish purple), Vanilla (ivory yellow) and Midnight 15 (super shimmery beige).
Draw a feliner with Liquid liner and finish with oodles of mascara.

    • Ashu doing such a makeup is the easiest……hardly any blending or complications…….its just strategic poistioning of the eyeshadows….
