Hellooo WS gang !
Another DIY for you 😛 it is so fun to write DIYs and you guys just love them!
As you know, if I am writing a DIY it has to be super easy. I don’t consider them DIY which take me all the time to get them prepared and ask for unusual ingredients.(lazy me!) Today i will be sharing with you a super easy DIY for split ends. Yes, you can finally treat your split ends without going for a trim. I hail those who are born with zero split end hair. No matter, how bouncing haircut you have after a particular time our hair start splitting at the ends. Reasons could be many, exemplary, pollution; improper hair care; unhealthy food habits; manhandling of hair, to say some. I told you in a post that to avoid split ends never rub your wet hair with towel, instead squeeze the water out. Also, have a healthy and green diet and eat foods rich in protein and vitamin E.
Apart from these, i have shared different DIYs for healthy hair. So, this one is particularly for split ends without trimming. I know, you love your tresses and won’t be pleased by the idea of trimming them again and again because you can’t treat your split ends. Now, i have a solution for you which is super easy!
- • one egg yolk
- • 3 tablespoons olive oil
- • 1 tablespoon honey
Mix 3 tablespoons of olive oil into the egg yolk. Whisk it properly.
Now, add 1 tablespoon of honey and whisk again. Make the mix of desired consistency so that it doesn’t drip when applied to hair. Now, apply this mix on your hair concentrating to the ends. This will also smooth out the hair.
Apply this DIY hair mask to the ends of your hair 1 hour before washing every 2 weeks. You will notice a huge difference. Shampoo and condition as usual and rinse thoroughly. I often use this hair mask. This time I have noticed a decrease in my split ends and if there are any, they don’t make my hair ends look frizzy. If you are someone looking for an alternative to get rid of split ends without going to the salon, try this DIY hair mask. I would suggest, for effective results have a haircut once and after that use this mask every two weeks regularly.
