Winter force  you  to compulsorily care for your skin, lips, hair, nails, feet….literally everything. For my already dry skin winter is a huge torture.

Dry scalp and skin are a problem I am dealing with as of now in this post. Heavy moisturizing will calm the dryness.

For this scalp and skin cream, you will need all direct things from your drawer/shelf.

Note down the ingredients for this Dry Skin Moisturiser:-

  • 2 spoon almond oil,
  • 2 spoon castor oil,
  • 1 spoon frozen coconut milk cream,
  •  1 spoon kewra water.

DIY Kewra Moisturizer

Almond oil is the right choice when it comes to massaging or moisturizing. Right from new born babies to adults, almond oil is the chosen one.

Castor oil is thick sticky oil with loads of skin benefits. Moisturizing being the major job, it locks the softness and suppleness of the skin.

Coconut in all the DIY recipes is my personal favourite. Coconut in all forms of its products or by-products is a great blessing. The aroma is soothing. The skin/scalp gets their share of moisturizer when coconut milk is used.

Kewra water is aromatic water just like rose water. The fragrance is more or less same as rose water. It is like plain water in its appearance. It has antioxidant properties. It acts as a good toner and helps cleans the skin off dead cells. The fragrance of Kewra water makes it a very good flavouring agent.

Procedure:

Take both almond oil and castor oil in a bowl and mix well.

Slightly warm up the two mixed up oil.

To this add the coconut milk cream and mix well.

Once mixed add the kewra water. This thins down the whole mixture and also adds the fragrance.

The fragrance of kewra water dominates all the other ingredients. Whereas all the ingredients except kewra water are excellent moisturizers.

Thus the Kewra Moisturizing Massage Lotion.
