Most astringents available in the market claim to be natural and alcohol free but it is always a good idea to whip a natural astringent at home. The ingredients are normally available in your kitchen closet and it takes hardly 5 minutes to mix them up and have your own homemade astringent.

A dark jar for the infusion (alternatively you can wrap a black cloth on a transparent jar also)
A dark spray bottle for storage
1. Place rose petals and tea bag in the jar.

3. Let the water cool down for a couple of minutes and then pour it over the rose petals and tea bag. Screw the lid on and place in a dark room for a day.
