Hello beautifuls! Today I will be reviewing Dove Elixir in Dryness care. Dove elixir created much hype by its advertisements. I bought this elixir after getting tempted by those ads only! Anyway, I used it and found it to be a decent purchase! Read on to find out more!

My experience with Dove Elixir Lavender & Olive Oil Dryness Care:

Packaging: It comes in a glass bottle that’s transparent and looks cute. Though it is not travel friendly at all. It is even prone to leakage. It has a pump dispenser with a cap. I like the idea of a pump dispenser. It has suspended Lavender petals and it looks so classy!

Texture/Consistency: It‘s a very light oil and is absolutely non-greasy. I use it as a leave-in too and it works great like that.

Dove Elixir Lavender & Olive Oil

Appearance & Fragrance: It is transparent in color but it has a little weird fragrance! It smells exactly like dove shampoos! I personally didn’t like this at all. Come on, could there be no option left with Dove? Sigh!

Overall Performance: I apply it 30 minutes before washing my hair but I just apply it on the length. I don’t dare use silicone containing oil on my scalp. Since it is mainly for dry hair and my hair are drier not my scalp; I didn’t get very disheartened for not being able to use it on my scalp. It definitely made my hair less frizzy with regular use. I mostly use it as a leave in and it works well that way too. I personally like that it is so light, non-greasy and controls frizz.
