Easy vegetarian simple pizza recipe with step by step pictures

I generally make pizza when I have guest at home and they have kids with them.If you serve kids pizza with their choice of topping then they will have no complaint against the food.

In between I too share a bite with them and enjoy it without munching on it too much. Some times I get small pizza base for my self or make it at home.It saves lot of calories and satisfy my taste buds;)

I made this pizza with the ingredients available at home and that is the best part of it.You can experiment your own way.I love making stuffed cheese pizza with home made pizza dough.I will try to post it recipe in near future.

Let me share with you my simple pizza recipe

Pizza base(I used the market purchased one)
Pizza sauce(Click here for the easy pizza sauce recipe)
Toppings-Chopped onion,mushroom,capsicum,olives etc
Salt according to taste
Black pepper according to taste
Organo as per taste
Red chilli flakes(optional)
1tbsp butter
3tbsp grated cheese(I use cube chesse, pizza cheese or cheddar cheese)

Step1-Take the pizza base and apply butter throughly on it and spread the pizza sauce on the base

Step2-Spread all the chopped vegetables on the base and add little salt and black pepper on it.

Step3-Grate the cheese on the toppings and sprinkle little more salt, black pepper, oregano and red chilli flakes.

Step4-Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes and cook the pizza on an oiled tray for 15-20 minutes. Again, the crust should turn golden and the toppings should start to sizzle but not burnt.

Your hot crispy pizza is ready to be served.Cut it into small or big sizes with the help of a sharp knife or a pizza cutter.

Kitchen tip-

You can actually use the griller for a very quick cooking method that gives great results on thin base pizzas. Preheat the griller for 10 minutes on high with the tray in the middle position. Grill one side of the rolled out pizza dough like you would an Indian Naan bread. Monitor it continually as it will only take a minute or two to go golden and start forming large air pockets. Carefully remove the hot base (avoid any hot steam escaping from the air pockets), turn it upside-down, and quickly add the toppings (sauce, cheese and other ingredients) on the uncooked side. Place the pizza back under the griller (toppings side up!) and cook for a further minute or two.

Happy cooking!!!
