Eating raw Foods for beautiful skin


Creams, lotions, moisturisers, scrubs certainly make a difference to your skin but they will only give their best result  when you start taking healthy diet. Beautiful skin always starts from inside out. I was a person who considered pizza and burger as my staple diet during my high school but slowly I shifted to raw food .My old friends get surprised when they see me and this is because of life style change and which included shifting my focus to raw food too.

Coming back to the point. Heating food above 105 degree Fahrenheit destroys the enzymes. Over heating destroys 50% of the protein and 70—90% of the vitamins and minerals too.
Enzymes are required in our body as they perform many functions which include digestion, assimilation and elimination of food. Lack of these enzymes leads to vitamin and mineral deficiencies resulting in premature aging and low energy.
*Fruits like Papaya and Pineapples are high in enzymes and regular consumption of these types of food keeps the body mineral and protein requirement intact.

*Foods which are high in antioxidants like carrots protect the skin from damages.
*Blue berries are also a very powerful antioxidant and helps in reducing wrinkles.
*Spinach, tomatoes, peas, broccoli etc contains Alpha-lipoic which helps in boosting strength. These fruits contain vitamin C and E which helps the body in energy production too.
*Sulphur is considered to improve skin condition and prevent acne. Foods such as asparagus, broccoli, pumpkin seeds, garlic, onions contains sulphur.
*Silicon level in our body decreases with our age and it is only fruits and vegetables such as apples, oranges, cherries, grapes, strawberries, beets, cucumber, carrots and green leafy vegetables which can maintain up the balance.
*Raw nuts and seeds are high in vitamin E which is beneficial to the skin .Selenium keeps the skin elastic and can be found in garlic and onion.
*Phytochemicals are plant chemicals which help the body in defending against damages and are said to be anti aging. These can be found in foods such as berries, broccoli and cauliflower.
What you eat effects you skin and give you a similar health. Therefore drink plenty of water and eat lots of raw food for beautiful skin.
