My Experience With ELF Matte Lip Color Wine
Texture, Shade and Pigmentation
“Wine” is a beautiful shade to own!! The lip pen is decently pigmented and one swipe is enough to cover my pigmented lips; even after frequent swipes it doesn’t give any cake-y appearance. The texture of these lip pencils are really creamy. It glides smoothly when I swatch it. It has no tugging or pulling at all. These are said to be matte but these are creamy with slight matte effect.
I have got two shades Wine and Berry Sorbet. Wine is a stunning reddish wine shade with earthy tones. I love these kind of shade for my daily preening routine. It could be great choice for those who are shy of bold reds and for office goers as well. Also, it will suit almost all kind of skin tone. It is a great MLBB shade to own!!
The Staying power is fairly long if you wear lip liner underneath. I like creamy matte texture and This lip color doesn’t gives a completely matte finish unlike other matte lip colors. So if you are a person who likes true matte finish you can give a pass. Well, It stayed on me for abut 4 hours with minimal fading. Since it is very creamy, it transfers a lot on objects and It doesn’t survives a full meal as well. Nevertheless, it is great one to own under $3 price tag with even adorable packaging and quality. A big yes from my side and I’ll highly recommend this particular shade to you all.
